Ok...so...this is how I started it?!


Question: Ok!.!.!.so!.!.!.this is how I started it!?
I'm starting my life anew, by eating healthier!.!. I wanna lose weight quickly but not COMPLETELY by starving myself!. so this is what I did!.
For two days, I didn't eat anything!.!. I just drank about!.!.10 servings of water to clense my body and digest everything tht still needed to be digested!? haha!.!.!.you know what I mean, just simply empty my body!. Ok, so!.!. I started this morning with a tiny handful-portion of sliced watermelon!. now what!? I want to just eat light foods, i dont like feeling stuffed!.!. and quite frankly!.!. I'm really not tht hungry anymore for anything!. I don't know whats going on wit my body!. I want to have lost 5-10 pounds within the next 14 days!. So, any ideas!? thoughts or comments!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

First let me say that there is sooooo much misinformation out there and it gets confusing!. then we have people who are in great shape giving advice that is totally incorrect!. they tell us what they do, but their genetics are so great, they do not have to eat/exercise correctly to achieve what they have!. therefore what they do will never work for us!. then we have people selling products/books with their gimmicky diets or ab-roller products!.

here's the bottomline: its very difficult to overcome our horrible eating habits!. eating junk is horrible!. eating too little food is horrible!. skipping breakfast is horrible!. not eating for two days is horrible!.

i use to do the above as well!. cause i didn't know any better because of the things i outlined in paragraph 1!.

here's the truth:
in addition to eating more healthy you have to be more healthy!. which means exercise as well!. and it may take you years to incorporate all this into your life (it took me many years!) where it becomes second nature!. especially if you've never been an athlete growing up!. (and i was an athlete growing up)

75% of the population do well when they learn to manage their carbohydrate intake!. if you are overweight, manage would mean to restrict carbohydrates to less than 50 grams per day!. once you reach your bodyfat level goal, you would then learn WHEN to incorporate carbs back into your diet/life!. Carbs should be earned! people in the know incorporate carbs back in slowlllyyyy to see how YOU react to them!. we all react different to them to a small degree!. the best way to incorporate carbs back in would be two times during the day at first!. breakfast and after your workout!.

when i say carbs, i mean good carbs too!. not crappy carbs!. good carbs are sweet potatoes, brown rice, green veggies, fruits, beans!. not candy, bread, sodas, fruity pebbles etc!.

so if you must manage your carbs, then that means the bulk of your food intake should come from proteins & fats!.

good proteins are chicken breast, tuna, turkey, fish, eggs, whey isolate protein powder, steak once per day is fine, even with mercury scaring the public, tuna is fine once per day!.

good fats are raw unsalted nuts, extra virgin olive oil in your protein shakes, natural peanut butter (ingredients should be peanuts and salt ONLY), fish oil omega 3 capsules,

sheesh, thats a lot of stuff to take in isn't it!? in addition to all this, you have to know how much to eat of each nutrient!. nutrient being protein and fats!. and that is based on your current weight!. so i cant recommend that detail since i don't know your weight!.

drink lots of water, no soda, diet soda is fine!. dont let anyone tell you different!. any zero calorie drink is perfectly fine!. diet greet tea!. etc!.

cardio! get active! but if you do restrict your carbs, keep the intensity of your cardio below 130 beats per minute (heart rate)!. when you get carbs back in your life, do interval training in addition to low intensity training!.

lifting weights! the more muscle you have the faster your metabolism is, therefore the more fat you burn! don't worry, females can not get HUGE from lifting weights unless they are on steroids since females do not have testosterone in great amounts, like men/teenagers do!

once per week PIG OUT! eat whatever you love or crave!. pizza, donuts, hamburgers!. whatever!

there are physiological reasons for this meal!. its very necessary when we diet!. it helps our mind too!

all the above is HEALTHY!. FOOD is very drug like in the results we can achieve from it!. IF we know how to implement it into our life properly!

lastly, unless you are completely obese, its impossible to lose 10lbs of FAT in 14 days!. its entirely possible to lose 10lbs of WEIGHT!. but most of that will be water!. and if since carboHYDRATES are mainly water, restricting your carbs to 50 grams maximum will have you there in NO time!
