Question: What type of foods should an athlete eat!?
Most of the time after I ride my bike 10-20 miles, or run a couple miles, my muscles feel weak!. It feels like I need something in my diet to replenish the energy used!. What works best for recovery after a workout!? meat, pasta, fruits!?!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is good to eat no longer than an hour after you workout!. There was a study that showed that the muscles are more receptive to nutrients at that time and absorb much more!. A mixture of carbs and protein is good, 250-500 calories!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
