14 is pretty early to start heavy lifting, but it by no means will stunt your growth!. That is around the same time I started lifting regularly as well and at 21 I'm still getting taller (6'1 now) If lifts are carried out properly, like keeping back erect while doing squats ect!.!. compression won't be an issue!. In fact when you lift during your develpoing years you can really increase your bone density for later on in life!. Just make sure that you're lifting properly, and if possible seek advice from someone that has done these lifts before!.

Tricep dips are a grea way to build your triceps and also works your chest, shoulders and back!. Benching of course is a great chest builder, just try and mix it up with dumbell benches or other balance oriented pushes to work the small muscles that create plateaus!.

Any kind of curling (preferably freewieght) will help your biceps especially if you combine pullups as well!. If you only have a flat bar in stead of an easy bar try reverse curls as well to build those forearms!.

I general compound exercises are the way to go (w/ freeweights) since if lifted properly will provide the most functional strength!. If you realize that a particular muscle is holding you back then think about mixing in specific routines to focus on it!.

Obviously give yourself days to rest and don't lift heavy if something feels wrong going into the gym!. I myself plateaued for about a year becuase I was too stubborn to rest when I got injuries!. Lastly, if you're going to do some of these, make sure to have a GOOD spotter that is also willing to have you push till failiure!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Stunting your growth is not a prob!. 14 is a good age to start training!. Just know your limits!. Most of your coaches in school will start training you by now!. Try just doing light weight and make sure you stretch good before and after!. Triceps try doing braincrushers and strait bar push downs!. Biceps some hammer curls on the ropes and straight bar curls with the bar on the bench!. if that is to heavy then just use the easy curl bar!. Pecs!. u can always count on the bench press and butterfly press!. Make sure you do all your reps slow down and explode back up! Www@Answer-Health@Com

14 is a great age to start body building!. That's around when I started!. Do you seriously weigh 15 kg or are you lifting 15 kg!? If you weigh 15 kg then that is so light I don't know how anyone can live with that much light weight!. In America, we use kilograms and pounds!. 15kg= 33 pounds (take the kilograms and multiply by 2!.2) but if you are in another country I guess it's different!. Anyway, to get stronger, you should probably do Bench Press, Shoulder Raises, Power Cleans, Power Shrugs, Dumb Bell Curls, and any hammer overhead presses!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Ok, i started lifting weights when i was 13 and i'm 6'1 now!.!.!.so the stunting of growth is either a lie or i got very lucky!.

But, i do think 15 KG's might be too heavy!. Even if you can lift it with ease, it still might hurt your joints long term!. So just take it easy lifting weights and don't lift too much, and you'll be fine!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com
