Works for me :)
During rowing season (winter) it really helps me get over them by having long morning runs and fitness tests!.
I guess it just depends on the person!.

Great question!.

Each person is different!. However, generally speaking, exercise is a BAD thing to do when you are sick!. Why exactly!? Your body's defenses are working on your system!. The protein you eat is being used to repair damaged cells and build new fighters!. The carbs and fats you eat are helping to fuel these cells to do their job and get rid of the infection!. When you exercise, you are taking away all the necessary nutrients from your body's system and using them instead to lift weights or run!. Now your body needs to do double duty: repair the torn muscles AND fight off a cold!. Not very smart! You'll find that you're much more sore the next day!.

Since you state you're having sinus pressure, that's not as big a deal and you shouldn't find any problem with working out!. However, because you *should* be breathing through your nose, you should work on this as well!.

Keep in mind that you could be contagious, so ensure that you are doing all you can to not spread this to your fellow gym-goers!. Skip the gym altogether and hit the pavement for some good cardio and "boot camp" style working out, or always ensure to sanitize everything you touch, including weights, buttons on the treadmill, etc!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have the same problems like yours but my sickness don't go away when I exercise!. I guess my sickness are those permanent ones!. Basically, exercising helps in making the body stronger and thus preventing you from falling sick!. Not sure whether it would help when you have already fallen sick, but I guess you could try provided that you are feeling ok to exercise!. =) Www@Answer-Health@Com

exercise to get over a cold!?!? What were they teaching you in school!?!?!?
This is VERY bad if your sick you shouldn't exercise at all or you could get infections!. Your body needs rest and time to recover NOT exercise!. Exercising when your healthy is good and helps you resist disease!. But exercise when you have a cold won't work and is dangerous!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I use to believe that it would to, but I am of the opinion that it only pro longs the cold!. Going to a steam room is a good idea, but thats about as far as I would go trying to get rid of a cold!. Just rest and drink lots of fluids is my answer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I believe so, for me it helps to an extent!. You don't want to exercise so much you can't breathe and in turn makes you even more stuffed up!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well it makes you stronger and healthier!. So I would say yes!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

It helps me but I don't get sick that often!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
