Question: If I work out, how do I look lean instead of bulky with muscle!?
Ok so I'm going to start working out after school in the school gym weight room and this is right after a nice good season of crosscountry running!. How do I workout to look like guy #1 and not guy #2!? I'm willing to put in more running too!. I'm 5'6 and 15 and around 16% bodyfat!.

As a former soldier in the U!.S!. Army who helped monitor the physical appearance of his troops!. Health and fitness are one of my expert areas!.
Okay several things have to go into play!.

One you have to be absolutely dedicated to this idea, otherwise if you aren't, your attempt to be buff can turn to luff!. It also helps to have a partner to keep you motivated and you to keep them motivated!. Also its best to have a spotter when lifting weights, for safety reason and to make sure your not cheating your body!.
Second To get muscular or cut your going have to eat more starches and carbs, which have a lot of calories which equals energy, the energy that you will need in order to get results!.
Also to look like these guys you need a realistic goal!. You will not look like these guys in 3 months, it will likely take up to year!. But you will notice the abs in as little as 4 weeks if you do alot of running say at least five miles!. Also do 100 situps every hour you are awake!. Stay away from empty carbs and sugars like beer, soda, coffee, red bull and candy!. If you crave sugars fruits, and energy bars are about your best bets!. Also invest in a years' subscription of mens health!. Best magazine for getting in shape!. It has been my foundation to getting more muscular!.

First of all i love running
To keep my self in shape and ready for merathons i drink milk everyday and run around 10k everyday as fast as i can for 2 months!.!.!.
(its hard in the begning cuz 10k is alot but u get used to it and whn u run in a marathon u'll feel like a hero whn u run fast like a hoarse in front of everyone :D))

Then i do some pushups and situps jumpin jacks and a bit of weight lifting!.!.!.!.!.
If u dont wana be muscular dont do alot of weight lifting just average pushups and situps everyday and eat your vegetables!.!.!. =)

Honestly, girls are going to like you either way!. The process will take a long time too, if you didn't know that!. Also, it depends how your muscles and body are, because some people can be ripped, but not toned!. I say workout till you start to see results, and if they aren't what you want, THEN ask!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

After 30 minutes of any cardio or more if you have time or want to!. Do weights lift light weights and more reps!. So if you have 5 pound dumb bell do three sets of fifteen bicep curls on each arm!. This will tone you up and not make you bulky!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

if you want to build bulk when you lift, do a lot of weight in small reps

if you want to get more toned do a lot of reps of less weightWww@Answer-Health@Com

Work out for long periods of time when you work out!.
I!.E!. Thirty minutes a day three times a week!.
It'll build up your heart & make you slender!.
If you do sudden bursts of exercise, that will build muscle!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Aerobic activity and light weight training!. Not heavy weights!. Light weight lifting will work the lean muscle and not bulk you up too big! Www@Answer-Health@Com

Plenty of running and light weights with high reps will give you the lean look!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

dont work out your chest as much!. do work outs that are more focused more on your abs and legsWww@Answer-Health@Com
