You know those people who are addicted to exercise?!


Question: You know those people who are addicted to exercise!?
How do I become one of them!? I can't stand to exercise!. Nor do I have a lot of time to do it, but I'd make time if I had to feed the junkie!. I tried to make myself exercise, hoping it'd stick, but!.!.!. nope!.

I want to WANT to exercise!. Does it happen over time (and how long'we talkin!?), or is it one of those things you're just born with/without!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, I wasn't born with it!. I taught myself to like it!. Making time to do it comes out of wanting to do it!. Teaching oneself to like it is easy!. Just like eating foods that are good for you!. You make a decision!. Do I want to live a rich, full life and feel good!? Or, do I want to go down a miserable decline in my later years filled with hospital and doctor visits, along with the medications with their costs and side effects!? Then, you just go do it!. Make sure it's fun!. If I go just a day or so without my exercise, I start feeling like I did when depression and diabetes were setting in!. If I want to feel good, I go out and walk briskly for a few miles!.!.!. or even jog if I've a mind to!. I go on weekly hikes in the rugged Sierra Nevada mountains with my boys!. I couldn't do that just three years ago!. It's a wonderful feeling keeping up with them!. Really Mozz, you owe it to yourself to become addicted!. A walk a day (with an apple) will definitely help keep the doctor awayWww@Answer-Health@Com

I am one of those people but it took a while to become one!. The thing is!.!. you exercise & your body releases endorphins into your body which make you feel good!. That plus the results I eventually saw turned me into a gym addict!.!.!. You need to just incorporate working out into your lifestyle!.!. A good way is to work out before EVERY shower so that you know you will be working out regularly- even if it is just a quick walk around the neighborhood to get your heart rate going!.!. I gave my sister that tip & she lost 10 pounds!.!. Also if you dont already have an Ipod you can invest in one, it makes the gym a lot more fun & if you get an armband for it- its even better!! good luck!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

The "addiction" is to the endorphins that are released into your body once you have exercised!. I would have laughed at any one who called me an exercise junkie about 5 years ago, but I found a gym I liked that offered classes and machines that gave me the work out my body needed!. Now if I miss a day!.!.!.wow I hate the way I feel!. I also am now a teacher in the group fitness realm and working on the finals for being a personal trainer!.!.!.!.so yeah I'm a junkie!. It took a long time to get this way - but it's the best think I could have done for myself!.

Habits are formed in about 14 days and take about 45 days to break them!. It only takes 20 minutes a day (if done efficiently) to work your total body!

Definitely not something you are born with, at least not for me!!!!!!!

I have to FORCE myself to do it and keep at it!. Then, after about 2 weeks or so when I see the results and, even more so, FEEL the results, it becomes addicting!. If I mess up and get lazy more than once, I have to start the whole process over again!. That's just me though!. : )Www@Answer-Health@Com

my mother in law is a exercise freak! you have to set goals hers was she didnt want to be fat anymore and wanted to be healthy so she set up a dance mix on her ipod and started into exercising and then she switched her eating habit to all organic and not alot of meat and she is a size 4 now from a 18!. this took her about a year as she didnt hurt herself just changed alot of stuff and her body agreed with it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It happens when you start going to the gym all the time or exercising all the time and you get used to, then once it becomes a habit and you skip a day, you feel like crap, so you keep going and you love to go cuz of the way it makes you feelWww@Answer-Health@Com

I wish I was one of them!. I force myself daily and even when I do that I get bored and think about all the things I need to get done that day!. I think some people have more willpower and are more motivated than others!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
