it depends on your diet!. if you are eating low carb, keep your intensity low!. never let your heart rate get above 130!. or else you will burn muscle!. instead of fat!.

if you are eating tons of carbs, the intensity can be higher!.

start off with 30 mins each day!. do this until fat loss stalls!. then add 10 mins!. do that until fat loss stalls!. then add another 10 mins!. etc etc

dont go above 60 mins per session!. if you have to go above 60 per day (i doubt it) add a second session at night starting at 10mins per night session!. adding to it accordingly!.

I've been having good luck with the elliptical at the gym!. My total weight loss goal is 55 lbs!. I'm 10 lbs down now!. According to my trainer, to burn fat and increase heart and lung capacity, you need to work at a level that challenges you!. You can start at a low resistance level and increase!. Work up to the highest level you can do and still breath for 30+ minutes per workout!. To maximize your fat lose, you should also some some strength training!. Lean muscle helps burn fat!. it takes 30 minutes for your body to start burning fat so I would say about 1 hr but no more than 1 hr and fifteen minutes!. Also if you want to burn more fat and give you metabolism a boost then do some strength training in the evening about 2 hrs before you go to bed!. this is what I have done and have lost 20% body fat in 8 months!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
