Anyone else on a diet?...what is working for you?!


Question: Anyone else on a diet!?!.!.!.what is working for you!?
I have been on a diet for a month now!. I have lost 15 pounds!. I have quite a bit more weight to lose!. I am tired of the same old foods!.
I eat dry Cheerios for breakfast, a Healthy choice meal for lunch and one for supper with a side salad or extra vegetables!. It is working for me but getting very boring!. I have been severely anemic over the last year!. I had surgery to correct the anemia but it is taking a while to build back my blood cells and energy!. I walk about twice a week (not nearly enough I know)!. What is working for you!? Any hints, tips or tricks!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

don't allow yourself to get in a rut! that is where people backslide!.

you don't have to eat the same things over and over!

get a recipe book with healthy, low cal meal ideas!.

i wouldn't order online, though!. go to your local library or book store so you can browse the pages yourself before you purchase

try smoothies for breakfast!

my favorite smoothie;

6 oz cranberry pomegranate juice (oceanspray no added sugar)
4 oz plain non fat yogart
1/8 can of frozen o!.j!.
2 tablespoons of wheat germ or ground flaxseed

go ahead and blend these ingredients first!.
then, while still blending, being aware that you can get splashed, carefully add:

1/2 cup blueberries
1/2 cup strawberries
8-10 cubes of ice

keep the cover to the blender ready to immediately put back on while adding fruit and ice!. can be messy!

in addition to changing your eating routine - and that's exactly what you've done - created a ROUTINE (routine is not a good word when it comes to eating or working out - makes you think of something boring and repetitious, which is NOT what you want with either one) - also switch up your workouts

keep walking, but some days take a class or climb some stairs instead

Mix up your food, I could definitely NOT eat what your eating for a month! For breakfast today I had a 2 egg omlette with spinach and a slice of american cheese, a slice of wheat toast, and half a serving of orange juice!. For lunch I had half a roast beef sandwich with cheese and a large side salad with reduced fat 1000 island dressing!. I'm upping my fruits and veggies, and reducing simple carbs!. I am also doing a lot more exercising, I have been exercising for about an hour a day, whether it be on the elliptical trainer, or the exercise bike!. I also like to do workout videos!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is normal to lose about 2 to 4 lbs a week!. You should get at least 1hr of exercise 3 to 4 times a week!. I do The Firm workout!. I love it and I don't have to go anywhere to do it!. First of all its great that you lost so much weight already!! Congrats! I would suggest to eat 5-6 meals every 2-4 hours and just make sure each meal has a protein, carb and a fat!.

get special k just follow the box instructions it worked for me you can eat popcorn for snack just read the box i used the kettle corn look at the pop side most are only 30calories for the hole bag hope this helps if not hey i triedWww@Answer-Health@Com
