How Long Until I Begin To Physically See Results?!

Question: How Long Until I Begin To Physically See Results!?
I am overweight, by what I deem to be a lot!. 70 or 80 pounds at least!. I was going to begin a workout and cut back on food but I always have trouble making it a habit!. I decided that I was going to keep it light in the beginning and then eventually when I start to see results I would pick it up even more and make it more difficult!. Is this a good idea!? How long, if I'm doing light exercises such as things in doors, until I begin to see an improvement in my weight!? (I don't have a scale yet!.) If you need more information please state so and I will add it!. If you have helpful hints or tips, I am always grateful!. Also, Im one of those emotional eaters and ones that do it when they are bored, do you have any tips for that!? (besides putting down the fork, I want something to do with my time thats constructive)Www@Answer-Health@Com

You just have to motivate yourself maybe, have someone close to you help you and work out with you also!. You just have to make yourself get into that habit, just like eating dinner everynight tell make it so you have to workout everynight!. Definitely keep it light in the beginning and progress as you can!. If you stick with it you will see some improvements within a month!.!.very slight improvements of course!. Keep yourself busy also, if you have children take them to the park and play with them instead of sitting and watching them!. Walk to the grocery store for a few things instead of driving (if you live close of course) walk to a friends house instead of driving!. As for emotional eating you just have to be strong for yourself and know your limits!. When you do give in just remember to keep it in moderation and you should be fine if you are still exercising!. Portion sizes are the biggest thing, eat small meals 5 times a day!. I'm sure you've heard it before but, it does help! Also, train yourself if you eat well all week on sunday have one piece of pizza or one cookie to reward yourself!. Don't deprive yourself then you will want it more and don't give in unless you've been doing well!. If you drink pop, swap it with water or juice!. Also, if you like V8 and Naked its a great way to get your fruits and veggies for the day if you're on the go!. I hope this helps you!. Good Luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

With a slight change in diet, you should see results within 2-3 weeks!. A good thing to start is HIIT, it keeps your metabolism boosted, and takes approximately 20 minutes! I am glad to see there are determined people who want to make a change in their life =)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just one or two ideas to mention!. First, your idea about easing into the discipline might work!. It may depend on you!. I think the danger in it is that if the easier habit becomes your routine, it may be just as hard to step it up to the next level!. So perhaps you'd want to choose a moderate or moderately-difficult level and just stick to that!. I'm not sure -- just a thought!. Second, remember that big changes can take a long time!. So don't try to lose 60 pounds in a month; that will kill you!. I don't have personal experience, but from what I know from others, I think 20-40 pounds per year is a very reasonable goal!. Maybe more, but the goal is consistency, not killing yourself!.

So to directly answer your question, you may begin seeing results even with a light beginning in 2-4 weeks!. Maybe set yourself a goal of losing 8 pounds in the first two months, and if you get to the one-month mark and have noticed no change, step it up a notch!. You may also begin to notice a change in more than your weight, like your energy for example!. Stay tuned in to your body and it will tell you many of the things that you need to know!Www@Answer-Health@Com

A good friend of mine has lost about 50-60 lbs since last winter!. He has eaten a LOT better as well as walk and eventually run about 4 days a week!. If you get bored easily then you need to get out of the house and do things!. If you are too out of shape to get right into running, make sure you ease into it!. By that I mean pick out an area of a mile or two and run a little until you need to stop!. But don't stop, walk until you feel you can jog again!. Each workout you should be trying to run a little further without having to stop!. Consistantly eating well and exorcising and you will get the results you desire!. Forget the damn scale!! Really!. You will know that your losing body fat when your clothes fit differently!. Don't the the numbers on the scale make you feel like you have or haven't accomplished anything!. Remember that muscle weighs more than fat!. So if you are lifting any weights than you will be building muscle and that may skew your weight loss!. Stay positive!. Remeber that eating the way you were eating and not exorcising is how you got to the point your at now!. So that is what you NEED to change! Good Luck! You can do it! Everyone can! Don't ever say you tried but you just couldn't do it!. Because unless you have a severe medical condition , you WILL be able to lose that fat!. Now get off your **** and do some jumping jacks or something! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Congrats, your healthy body will thank you!.

That's smart to start slowly!. When you have 70-80 pounds to go, weight probably will drop off pretty quickly at first!. If you commit to a good low calorie eating plan; 10 lbs!. including water weight may drop the first week, but then it won't be as fast!. Every 3500 calories that you cut out equals a pound of fat!.
As for exercise, your muscles actually grow more mitochondria and capillaries (more fat burners and a better blood supply) which will make you and burn more calories per day after six weeks of working out!. That's when many people say, wow, I can see and feel a difference!. Also that's when muscles shift into higher fat burning mode so you get more bang for your buck when you exercise!. Also, I always say, If you approach it correctly, you should NEVER feel pain!. "No Pain no Gain" in IMHO, is baloney!.

I have a few suggestions!. I'll start with dealing with emotional eating and later I'll send some for exercising!.

First, for the emotional eating, when you find yourself wanting something to eat; stop just a second and get conscious of it - realize that you want whatever it is!. That is your most powerful moment, because that's when you have the power to make the choice!. Then take a minute to see just what you're feeling!. Is it boredom, sadness, anger, tiredness, what emotion!. How does it really feel in your body, notice where you feel it and how, eg, is your chest feeling tight, your jaw clenched!.!.!. anything!. Once you understand what you feel, feel yourself feeling it for a moment, then take several deep slow inhales and exhales!. For some people, the craving passes!. Not for everyone!. But regardless, you should be a bit more conscious and can ask yourself, does eating this contribute to where I want to be!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
