That's an involved question, so I will respond to a certain area of the back, only!.
For instance, I think one the best exercises to strengthen the spinal erector muscle group is the bridge on the ball!. If you have a stability ball, sit on it with your knees pointed straight ahead, feet are placed hip width apart!. Slowly walk the feet away from ball as you lower your back so that your head and shoulders rest on the ball!.
Keep your hips up as high as the ball, keep your Knees directly over your ankles that are hip-width apart!.
You will feel this in the muscles that run on both sides of the spinal column!. It's an excellent exercise to improve posture and develop stronger spinal stability!.

The single best back exercise is the "dead lift"!. Next would be "barbell rows" or "dumbbell rows"!.
