Answers:
No, that's not true, don't listen to the consensus from random people who are misinformed!. The rep scheme works like this:

1-5 for strength
6-10 for mass
12+ for endurance

Light weight and more reps is commonly believed to tone, but that is a bs myth!. Less weight and more reps just increases endurance by utilizing slow-twitch muscle fibers!.

Whether training for mass or to "tone", you should be doing more weight and fewer repetitions!. It is physiologically impossible to put on muscle mass if you are not consuming more calories than you burn!.

If you have a caloric deficit and lift heavy your strength will increase, and body fat will be reduced!. Less weight and more reps will just increase endurance!.

Is that really what your goal is!? Although it's a good idea to incorporate some sets with lighter weight in a weightlifting routine, you also definitely want to use heavy weights!.

Incorporate some cardio into your exercise schedule for maximum results!. I recommend High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), which has shown to reduce body fat 9 times more effectively than other forms of cardio!.

toning up simply makes the muscles you have become stronger!.!. and maybe!.!.!. MAYBE helps you lose a bit of weight!. I'd suggest cardio if losing weight was your main goal!. I agree with your definition of heavy and moderate weights, but you also have to remember that you do want to do double the amount of sets that you would with heavy weights when you want to tone up (8-10 reps 3 sets, 3 or 4 exercises for mass, 1-15 reps 6 times, 5 or 6 exercises)!. Finally, make sure that your form is flawless - most guys are so self-concious about asking for help or advice at the gym that they do twice the work and get half the results because they're a few degrees off of the right angle to work a certain muscle!. I'd suggest getting help from a trainer or someone that knows a lot about PT to give you pointers - just for the first two or three times until you have all the angles and right exercises for what you want to tone up!. Do you think there is a special "tone" muscle that only gets hit by high reps with moderate weight!?!?

Toning and bulking are the same thing - toning is just more concerned with dropping body fat as well as gaining muscle mass where bulking is more concerned about mass and doesn't care as much about the fat!.

The poster above with the long message on rep ranges and HiiT is correct!. Read that one again!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Swimming burns calories, if you were to do resistance work along with this you would "tone up"!. Toning does not have a definition therefore there is no answer!. Toning means seeing muscles basically so if you lose weight and gain muscle then you have your answer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

anything with high reps will build strength and not bulk one of the best ways of building up strength is swimming but actually oing for gold ,well giving it your all will be as good!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.

you will only bulk up by consistently adding more weight, muscles can't countWww@Answer-Health@Com

I think that's perfect for what you want!. Incidently, swimming is excellent for toning up!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
