Bulking up for a 14 year old?!


Question: Bulking up for a 14 year old!?
I'll be 15 in a month!. I'm 6' and 141 pounds!. I want to gain atleast 15 pounds of muscle in the next year!. Is it ok to start doing major lifting!? And what are some exercises I should do and how many times a week!? Also how many reps should I do of an exercise to bulk up!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

6' and not even 15!?! You are going to be a monster! 15lbs of lean muscle in a year is a good goal!. I would normally say that is a big goal to achieve but with your size, weight and age!? You could easily destroy that goal if you are dedicated!.

Find a good workout that includes squats, deadlifts, romanian deadlifts, barbell rows and other compound lifts and eat like there's no tomorrow!.

Google Christian Thibaudeau, Chad Waterbury and Alwyn Cosgrove for workouts!.

With a healthy diet of major amounts of the right macro breakdowns of protein, carbs and fats (also google nutrient timing), you could add some major mass!.

You can bulk up a lot faster then that, i've gained 15 pounds of muscle in the last 2 weeks alone when I started bulking again, basically you're gonna want to take in at least 300 grams of protein daily for you're size!. To build mass you need to lift HEAVY and low reps, make it so the most you can lift, you can not possibly do anymore after about 6-7 reps!. Use free weights, they are much more effective then machines and build balance as well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yeah man i started at 15, i do 6-8 reps with a spotter!. you need to be taking protein, maybe even creatine if you got the money!. Personally i do weights 6 days a week with 1 day of rest, doing 1 muscle group a day!.
Older people will say you need 2 days rest and stuff like that but we are younger we can recover alot quicker!. Take fish oil tablets so you dont stunt your growth as they promote joint mobility!.
