Answers:
Sounds like you had enough calories, but not enough fruits and vegetables! Sticking with your basic menu, I'm going to show how you could amp it up very easily:

Breakfast: 1 Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich, 1 Cup of Milk, 1 Apple

Lunch: Mixed Greens Salad with Tomato, 1 English Muffin with Peanut Butter, 1 Banana

Snack: 1/2 bagel with butter, grapes

Dinner: Steak, baked potato, and broccoli (yum!)

Snack: Kit Kat Bar OR Snicker Bar OR 1 of each if they're the fun size ones from trick or treating! :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your approximate calories
Breakfast- 300
Luch- 340
Snack- 369
Dinner- 884 (if there was nothing added to the potatoe or broccli)
snack- 489 ( if they were regular sized)
Total- 1469
So if you are trying to loose weight good! If not you need to at least double it!. The best way to find out is google calorie calculator and find out what you already consume to maintain your weight!. Then use that to determine how many calories you want to take!. To loose 1 pound a week subtract 300 calories from that a day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

1!.) Depends

2!.) Not really, do you want the real answer!?

Being a person that has studied nutrition, and has had to stick diligently to a diet to gain weight (yes that's right, I was use to be a skinny kid), I think I can help you!.

First off, what is your goal!?!?!? Are you trying to lose/gain weight!? Are you trying to just maintain it!? There is an unfortunate "rule" that has been passed in our society thinking that "3 square meals" is what you eat for the day!. This couldn't be more wrong! You need to eat 4-5 small meals (more like snacks) a day to keep your metabolism up =

more energy/burn fat more efficiently!. What you should do is incorporate more veggies and fruits in your diet!.!.!.!.!.and dairy!. I know you've probably heard this a thousand times, but I will tell you this: IF you really take the time, just to add say for lunch:

a turkey sandwich (on whole wheat)
with some type of greens (spinach, spring greens)
milk
an apple/orange

I guarantee you will have A LOT more energy than you have now!. Also as far as the candy bars, try eating those earlier in the day IF YOU HAVE TO!. Your body is able to burn calories throughout the day, instead of right before bed to turn into fat!. And yes, you can do this on a budget!. I'm a college student and spend less than I use to when I ate packaged foods!. Check out this link, it's a rough start but might help:

http://edis!.ifas!.ufl!.edu/pdffiles/fy/fy5!.!.!.

so what is your goal!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's not really important on how much you eat but more on how many calories it is and what you ate!. You ate pretty healthy but you need dairy in your diet!. And to find out if your eating enough remember this!.!.!. you should have about 2,000 calories a day if you consume way less then 2,000 cal!. then you aren't eating enough!. If you eat a lot more than 2,000 cal!. then your probably are eating too much unless you are extremely active!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No do not listen to the other answers!.
You hardly ate anything at all although if you are a 12-14 year old boy you are fine!.
Also try to eat foods with low cholesterol not like peanut butter!. For breakfast have a full breakfast i!.e 2 fried eggs, tea, orange juice, and an apple!.
Try to increase your protein one steak is not sufficient to promote healthy growth!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

that sound like a perfect day balanced with every thing but you probably should have more veggies or fruit so for first snack instead of beagle try apple or and orange or grapes and cheese, second snack is fine im gessing its a desert, for breakfast try eggs there better for you, lunch try an normal sandwich with cheese and meat and other condiments unless you are a vegetarian then try a cheese sandwich dinner sounds like what i had minus potato Www@Answer-Health@Com

well to many carbs
and fats

I'd cut out the half bagel snack and put in an apple

And replace lunch with what you have for breakfast and for breakfast have a nice bowl of cheerios with fat free milk and a banana!. That's much more healthy and filling!. And make sure to have the sandwich on whole wheat bread!.

Your not having enough veggies or fruits but a lot of sugar and fats!. This is kinda a poor diet!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sound perfectly alright but seriously lack adequate fruit and vegetables!.

Maybe, you can replace your sweet snacks with some other alternatives!.

More often than not, many snacks contain processed sugars, saturated fats and minimal fibre!.

The following guidelines listed below will provide you with some pointers in choosing healthy snacks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yup, that's plenty! Unless you're feeling hungry, in which case you should have eaten more! Just do what I do!. Eat when you're hungry, stop when you're one bite away from being full!. If you follow those simple rules it's pretty hard for you to have eaten the wrong amount of food!.

And by the way, kit kats and snickers aren't "snacks"!. They're treats!. If chocolate was a standard snack healthy enough to tide us over until our next meal, we'd all be happy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Looks like enough, though a bit high in fat maybe!? I'm no dietician, I'm just a girl with lifelong weight problems!.

You can track calories as well as carbs vs protein vs fats at fitday!.com!. But you will need to use another tool to decide how many calories you want to eat and how many grams of protein and fat and so on!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Not enough food!. However calories should be based on BMI as well (it takes into consideration, height, age, daily activities etc)

Also, you want to take in nutrition!.

Www@Answer-Health@Com

it isn't HOW MUCH you eat!. it's the amount of calories IN what you eat!.

go to mypyramid!.org!. they've got tons of stuff that'll help you!.

:)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Dang it Ernie!.!.!. common sense!.!.!.!.

Are you still hungry!?

If you're still hungry, have a little bit more!.

If you're not hungry, then you probably ate enough!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes!. You ate plenty!.

You might want to get some more fruits and veggies worked in!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
