Question: Please answer my question!.!?
I dunno what the hell is wrong with me!.I was never like that!.I just cant control the amounts of food that I eat and its not that I'm hungry its just that food has become a NEED in my life!.I eat becoz it makes me happy!.I know its emotional but Im putting on pound after pound and its becoming unacceptable!.Please help me,tell me what to do and how to do it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Oh my goodness!. This story is my story right here!. I am not horrible fat!. I am about ten pounds over weight!. My good genetics stop me from getting too fat!. I am a binge eater!. I was, might be the better phrase!.

I still eat because it makes me happy!. 90 percent of women are emotional eaters!. But you know what, being enthusiastic about losing weight and getting help makes it more fun!.

I know getting over this will not be fun!. But it can be easier if you really want it!.

You have to admit your problem first!. I know by asking this question you already have, but I suggest writing a letter to yourself!. That's what I did!. I wrote a letter to myself admitting I am a binge eater, telling myself something must be done so I don't keep adding the pounds, and then I wrote up a plan!. A realistic day by day plan on how I should eat, and get more active again!.

You have to understand when you write these things down, they sound easier then they are done!. Actions speak louder than words!.

Curing this disorder doesn't necessarily require a psychologist!. With the right attitude, this can be cured without one!. You have to take it day by day!.

I know this sounds ridiculous, but when I got over my eating disorder, I compared binge eating to the likings of alcoholism!. This brought seriousness to my mind, and it made me think twice about eating too much because I feared it would become as serious a problem as alcoholism!.

None of this may make sense to you!. Or all of it may, I know I am saying confusing things!. But I am speaking from personal experiences, and how i felt at the time!.

You are correct!. The food is filling an emotional need!. You need to get out and meet people, take up a hobby like bowling or do yard work, volunteer, mentor a child!. Joining Weight Watchers will help also because there will be others struggling like you!. Anything that will keep you from gravitating towards food to make you happy!. I hear that Weight Watchers point system is great because you don't have to deny yourself!. Good luck!. Oh and substitute the foods you eat with fruit, veggies and whole grain breads!. This will give you the feeling of fullness because of the fiber!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

its like you said, it is emotional eating!. did something happen to make you feel out of control of a situation!? or something that sprung emotional hurt!? figure what triggered that!. talk to a dr!. to see what you can do about that!. find other things that make you happy that can consume your time rather than eating!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
