Oh FFS, you really need some real advice on this subject!. A lot of 'skinny' girls have a somatotype (body shape) known as an ectomorph, they are naturally that way and they will never naturally have large curves and vice versa!.

Those who train hard and lose body fat whilst still maintaining there natural healthy body shape do so through a healthy diet and excercise!!!

Its more about a lifestyle change than anything else!.

For a healthy diet, you need to be eating small to medium meals regularly!. 4 or even 5 times a day!. Each meal (apart from breakfast which should preferably be fibre rich), should contain a balanced ammount of carbohydrates for energy, (from potatoes, rice and pasta, etc) protien (from fish, chicken, occassional red meat is fine, soya is good too) and plenty of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants (simple fresh fruit and veg)!. Eat like this and make sure you are well hydrated (fruit juice is as good as water, any fluid counts, but some fluids have negative effects too, such as alcohol or caffiene rich drinks!.)

You can have a wide range of healthy meals with this, from Thai, Chinese, Italian, British, Indian, etc!. Just make sure each meal contains balanced ammounts of these three!. On the bright side too, fresh veg and rice and pasta is a lot cheaper than crappy junk food!

This doesn't mean you cant have chocolate or pizza/takeaway/etc, just save them as very occassional treats!.

The big secret to keeping a healthy weight and staying healthy is EXCERCISE, particularly cardio excercise (running, swimming, cycling, etc)!.

Cardio exercise will not only burn calories and reduce your body fat levels, but will also improve your resting heart rate and lung function, making you healthier!.

Strength training will help you strengthen and tone your muscles!. Heavy weights with short reps/sets will build your fast twitch muscle fibres and build size, power and strength, but if you use light to medium weights with lots of reps/sets, you wont build size, but you will tone up your body and train muscle endurance!. This will obviously make you 'look' healthier and more toned, but will also increase your metabolism (as your muscles demand more energy) so you will burn calories faster!.

As far as excercise goes, you should aim to strike a balance between cardio training and strength training, this way you will build good strong and toned muscle, but also keep your body fat levels down and increase your heart and lung performance, making you much fitter and healthier!.

The only difference between a fat person and a skinny person is not WHAT they eat, it's how MUCH!. Weight maintenance is a simple input and output balance!. If you eat more calories in a day than your body burns up, you will gain weight!.

I personally exercise for 60-90 minutes daily!.

I eat what I want, even cake!.!.!.just in moderation!. That's the key!. You haven't got to cut certain foods out of your diet to be slim!. You just have to learn to say no when you have eaten enough!. Physical and mental hunger are two different things remember!.

It's a complete myth that slim people have a 'high metabolism' and it's 'genetics' If you put too much food in your mouth, you will get fat, it's not genetics putting too much food in your mouth, it's the person!. Although I accept one may have a genetic predisposition to 'comfort eat' Which is a mental disorder, not a physical one!.

The longer bigger people keep using these excuses for being over weight, rather than facing the real problem that they, themselves are eating too much, the longer they will be overweight!. Being 'big boned' is also a myth too by the way!. Body shape is genetic yes but fat is fat!. Fat will store if you eat to much!.

Think of metabolism like a car, the bigger the car, the more fuel it burns!. The smaller the car, the less fuel!. It is the EXACT same for the human body!. Thinner people's metabolism is actually slower than a larger persons!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm naturally thin!. There's no point in trying to be skinny if you're not naturally thin otherwise you'll be starving yourself and being miserable!. You can be fit and medium/atheltic if you eat healthy like lots of fruit and nuts and workout do cardio like 3o min 4 times a week!. Everyone can't be skinny!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

i will be serious,
i eat as much as i want i dont count calories
i snack through the day - crisps chocolate, fruit, sandwiches between meals, sweets, brownies,magnum ice etc
i have breakfast lunch and dinner
i do no excercise not even p!.e at school due to an operation
and i still way like 49kg

i am 5'7 and weigh 130 pounds!. i love my body shape and type, i would be considered skinny!. I play volleyball, and i run track!. i am in high school so i play for my school!. here's a good tip!. speed walking burns more calories than running!. its true!. you should try it!. it could really help!. i'm extremely active too!. make sure you don't just sit around and watch TV!. its okay to do that sometimes but you definitely need to take care of your body!. I eat a lot of fruits!. apples, watermelon, pears, strawberries, and blueberries!. blueberries are extremely healty for you!. so is broccoli and try green tea, its been proven to be like a diet pill!. dont get the sugared up sweet kind drink the hot stuff!. eat salmon, its good for you too!. its okay to eat junk every once in a while but make sure you eat a majority of healthy foods!. it could really help!. the amount of calories i eat depends on what i've done that day!. dont eat when youre not hungry, and did you know it takes up to 20 minutes for your stomach to tell your brain that youre full!? keep that in mind!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

well i always thought it was because they have fast metabolisms!. but also iv noticed most girls are athletic too!. but im just to shy to go out there in front of all these strangers and do stuff like that!. its just not me!. and i hav a slow metabolism!. so i gave up on eating and starve and shove diet pills down my throat but you should NOT do this its not healthy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Join dance!. Its a great workout, you do sit ups and crunches, and a bunch of other exercises
But the best part is that it is SO much fun, so you work out, while having fun!.
Another thing you can do is walk!. It doesn't sound like much, but if you walk around the block EVERY day , you will be healthier, and therefore gain less weight!.

Wanna hear a good diet plan!?
Get some low calorie chewing gum!. It sounds mental but it actually makes u think u r eating when u rn't so u wont fancy anything to eat if u just keep chewing!. And it makes ur jaw bones stronger!. And also what u do is chew chewing gum all day and drink water and then ur only having like 10 calories a day, and also try and work out at the gym whilst chewing ur gum!. chew chew chew!

Work out as much as possible (i go 4 times a week for an hour each time) and eat a balanced organic diet!.!.!. don't focus on calories!!
