Congratulations - In Dr Phil's words, it sounds like drinking wasn't working for you and congratulations for realizing it and then doing something about it!.

Often, toning is a repetition thing during which you do many reps with less weight as opposed to a bulk building thing during which you do fewer reps and more weight!. You might find that there are a number of routines not normally considered a cardio routine that will still provide a fair amount of cardio benefit!. Take the traditional ballet dancer who does hours of bar exercises and very little running or weight lifting!. In general, if they have not starved themselves, they have great muscle tone and an excellent cardio vascular system!.

For what ever reason other than just quitting drinking, it sounds as if your metabolism is changing!. Listen to your body a bit as it starts to speak with you!. While you're at it, don't forget to pay a bit of attention to diet and getting enough protien; especially if you've increased your activity level/metaolism a bit!. If a body does not get enough protien and a balanced diet of nutrients and adequate calories when it is being exercised, it will actually tend to burn muscle tissue before burning fat! Dark green veggies help for a number of things including being able to fully utilize the protien you are eating as does a touch of fat with those veggies!.

Lastly, if you are losing weight quickly your skin needs some attention so that it shrinks up with some elasticity too!. Don't forget the skin cream and many swear by Vitamin E too!.

All in all, it sounds like your body is undergoing some drastic changes!. It's going to take a while until it settles down into stable routine!. Think of it this way!. Your body is probably going through as many dramatic bio-chemical and metabolic changes in as short, if not shorter, amount of time as it went through during your puberty!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Circuit training is popular for women, and is a great way to build up overall well-balanced strength and tone!. You work through several machines in sequence - whatever machines you have at your gym!.

Here's a random website that answers some circuit training questions and provides some guidelines: http://www!.bodybuilding!.com/fun/gideons5!.!.!.

At some point in your workout routine, you should have some cardio!. Swimming is a fantastic cardio workout, that works you head to toe, and doesn't cause the kind of stress on joints that you get from running/jogging!. Rollerblading is great also, and the speed and wind help make it less monotonous!.

Cardiovascular workouts like aerobics and kickboxing are fun, but joining those can be more expensive!. Again, depends on the resources you have at your disposal!.

Sex is good too!. But depending on your luck, that may only provide 15 minutes of exercise followed by 1 hour of sleep!.

Aside from your workouts, you should watch what you eat!. That's equally important!.

Good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I agree with the first guy!. 16 calories a minute (I've read in the distant past)!. But if you don't want to go for option 1: In my personal opinion, breast-stroke (swimming) is the very best way to tone a lady's body!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I took a cardio kickboxing class and itis working!. I love it and it is only 2 times a week!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
