Question: Do you agree that when 40 or older we should not be too skinny!?
http://s448!.photobucket!.com/albums/qq203!.!.!.

I put up these photos not out of vanity at all!.!. the photo which says summer 2003!.!. I was 40 years old!.!. I believed at the time I had a nice slim body but I think I look gaunt and a lot older!.at 110 lbs at 5ft 4!. I believe there is a photo on there with date Dec!. 2002 that's what my husband would like me to look like again now!.!. at age 46!.!. The one of May 2007 I was 44 and believe that was a healthy weight for my age at 5ft 4 I then weighed 129 lbs!. The one of May 2008 I am overweight!.!. I am now 46 I was 45 then but I am the same weight!.!. 150 lbs!.!. that's too much!.!. but I don't really see that I can get back to look the way I did in Dec!. of 2002!.!. that was 6 years ago!.!. I want to lose the weight to a healthy weight!.!. to 129 lbs or 130 lbs but I believe my husband has to understand that I am 6 years older than in the 2002 photo!.!. and the summer 2003!.!. I believe women over age 40 do look gaunt and older in their face when too thin!.!. I believe I look old there!.!.

I just want to look ok for my age and be able to wear clothes I like!.!. and not things with an elastic waistband!.!. if one is overweight one tends to not care about what clothes one wears as none seem flattering!.!. that's all I want!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You look great in all the photos!. But I agree with what you say, if you are too skinny it doesn't look good!. I can't remember who it was that said it, but the line was 'once you reach a certain age it's your fanny or your face' lol!. No-body should get too skinny though, no matter what age they are!.

P!.S!. You get down to the weight you feel comfortable at, not the weight your husband wants you to be!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

what i do not understand because you say on your yahoo answer page that you weigh 125 and that was in october
now your 150 in less than a month!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

A healthy weight is a healthy weight!. Age should have little or nothing to do with it!.

In college (many decades ago), I wrestled at 142lbs!. That is still my optimum racing weight (triathlon)Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, I agree!. On a lot of "recommended weight charts," the recommended weight does increase with age!. So around 35 and older, it's around 10lbs heavier than, say, a 20 year of the same height!.

You are asking a lot of questions about your weight lately!. I hope that this isn't bothering you too much!. In NONE of your photos were you "fat!." I think you're right; your husband DOES need to understand, that you are beautiful already the way you are!.

You also make a good point about the face!. We do tend to have leaner faces as we age!. I personally would rather have a beautiful face than body ANYDAY!. You can play up/down your body with clothes no matter what it looks like, but you can't your face (unless it's w/ surgery - like Demi Moore!.!.!.hint, hint!.!.!.) I will definitely gain weight if it meant making my face fuller and a bit more attractive (though honestly I don't need to right now LOL! I'm already kinda heavy, but oh well!) But I'm rambling on about the logistics of it all!. I actually think you have a very pretty face in all the pictures that I've seen of you!. Remind your husband of this when he mentions something stupid like weight (yes, I hate when men do this too!)Www@Answer-Health@Com
