Jogging on a treadmill?!


Question: Jogging on a treadmill!?
Do you lose weight faster buy jogging at a moderate pace for 3-5 minutes or at a faster pace for short bursts 30 seconds to 1 1/2 minutes!? I am on the treadmill for about 20-25 minutes, and have done both while walking!. Which is most effective to lose weight!?

You need to get your heart rate up to enter the cardio zone and then stay there for an extended period of time!. I wouldn't say they're equally as effective, but if you could incorporate both it would be better!. Just work up to it!. Don't increase your workouts too quickly!. Push yourself a little more each time, so you enjoy the workout and don't feel like it's too much, because this will make you want to regress or stop all together!. And do the same thing with the time you spend doing it!. Once you are consistently doing 25 minutes, and feeling good about it, step up the time you spend doing it too!.

Jogging on a treadmill is good, but you need the diet too!. You want to make sure the calories you are taking in are less than what you are burning!. You don't have to count every calorie, but daily estimation and acknowledgment of how much you are taking in and burning will keep you on track and motivated!.

Also, the cardio is great, but if you couple that with weight lifting and muscle building workouts 2-3 times a week, you will see vast improvements (if you watch the diet)!. Don't think it's going to "bulk" you up or anything like that either!. It will help with the weight loss and you will feel healthier and more capable all around!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to spend a lot more time at it to be effective, regardless of speed!. 20-25 minutes isn't even a bare minimum!.

Figure 100 calories per mile, maybe a little more if your running really hard!. One pound of fat is equivalent to 3500 calories!. Do the math!.

Post natal, any exercise should be targeted mainly at maintaining a minimal level of fitness until you're reasonably well healed!. Just the nursing will do more for losing the baby weight than anything you're doing on the treadmill!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
