What are some good ways to get exercise indoors?!


Question: What are some good ways to get exercise indoors!?
Sex not included, to anyone who thought they'd give a witty response!. : )
I find it difficult to go jogging/walking, because I don't feel safe going out on the streets on my own, and I'd rather be able to get fit at home!. Any suggestions!? Exercise machines are too expensive for me!.

Jump-ropes are a really good one! 100 calories every ten minutes approximately!.

Push ups, sit ups, jumping jacks, and other basic middle school-high school gym sports!. Also try running around your home, figure out how many laps is a mile, if you want!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hey there - I had the same question you had!. Got the same 'sex' answer too many times as well :)

You can try a selection of DVDs to watch - you can also try exercise!.tv or if you have an ipod you can try ifit!.com and watch free workouts online!. You could try using an online personal trainer to give you at home workouts!.

The trouble I had with all of the above is that you cannot be sure whether you are doing these exercises right!.

A service I found that solved my problems was an online trainer that does webcam to webcam personal training!. It is exactly like the real thing but I dont have to leave home!. You can find out more about it through the website http://jamieatlas!.wordpress!.com -

Tae bo!. Its a serious work out!. If you do 20 mins of tae bo you burn 211 calories!. Anything that gets your heart rate up is good!. Jump rope is another good one!. Also you could by a stepper from walmart, which is not near as high as a big machine, and if you do that for 20 mins you burn 184 calories!. Dancing for 20 mins burns 119 calories and that's fun!. When you clean your house you are burning calories!. If you clean your house for 30 mins a day you burn 119 calories!.!.!.even more when you include scrubbing, mopping and vacuuming (138)!.
