Question: I'm quite slender, but flabby / soft!. With regular exercise HOW LONG till I see toning results!?
I'm 28 and post baby body!. I don't really have any body fat to lose, so how long till I see results of my body, including arms / thighs firming and getting toned up with regular exercise!?

By regular exercise, I mean exercising every day for 30-45 minutes, doing either vigorous walks with pram (including hills), high intensity exercise videos if can't get out, & use of resistance bands to tone the arms!.

To tone up, instead of focusing on aerobic exercise like walks and such, I'd focus more on strength training at least until you get to where you want to be!. I know the first thing most women think when they hear strength training is ugly bulging muscles, but it is very difficult (especially for women) to build bulging muscles!. But strength training is perfect for toning up and it is great not only for your metabolism, but weight bearing exercise is also great for building bone density!.

So either do some body weight exercise like pushups, squats, crunches, or find a gym!. Bodyweight exercises should be fine for toning though!.

Start a morning routine of doing 3 sets of however many pushups, squats, and crunches you can!. If you can't do a whole pushup from your toes, start out on your knees!. You will probably start noticing toning results in a few weeks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Resistance bands are great depending on who you order from!. Bodylastics is not fantastic!. check out www!.resistancebandtraining!.com

furthermore by knowing your body type and shape then you will get better results as the training will be more customized!.

Targetted weight reduction is quite difficult, some would declare impossible, nevertheless the one method that clearly delivered for me is wu-yi tea, it can be viewed at www!.wu-yiNow!.com (see the resource box underneath) they have a small number of free trials left, it was reported in Fox News and USA Today!. I shed thrity pounds, it clearly does produce success!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Toning simply means, ur figure is more defined because ur muscles show more than fat right!? So to burn fat, u have to build muscle!. So yea, I agree with what the other people here say about strength training!.

U want faster results!? then u have to put more stress on your body!. Remember, you only gain what you lift!. Repetition for definition, and to look like hulk, then go bulk!.

You have to understand that, as a "middle-aged" man, I have no experience with re-toning my muscles after a pregnancy (obviously, lol) but, as a very avid bicycle rider/racer, long distance runner, and swimmer back a few years ago, I have a LOT of experience in doing my own muscle toning and advising others, men and women, in doing the same!. In your case, obviously I have to scale down my recommendations to something feasible within your new time schedule, but, I still have to say that how long it takes you to re-tone your muscles will depend on just how realistically determined you approach the task within your new role as mother of an infant!. I have never used these "high intensity videos" or resistance bands, so you'll have to apply them as you can with enough consistency to cause a loss in not only whatever carbs you have, but whatever fat you have, and the fat takes longer to burn than the carbs!. I'm also not a fan of these "teas" such as "Juanita H" recommends, maybe out of my own ignorance and skepticism as well as being of the "old school" that says that anything worth doing is going to take effort and not shortcuts!. The number one issue here is your care for your new baby, and I really didn't need to say that except to just set up priorities in your planning!. Once that is in hand, and house care and spouse care, if that's necessary, then you must prioritize your exercising within all the rest of your necessary activities!. Always remember, it won't come easy, there aren't any shortcuts worth messing with, and, when, after all the work is done, you ought to be one proud woman!. I've seen too many women not seriously address their re-toning necessities, and, well, their lives are never as satisfactory and pleasing as they'd like them to be, so, don't be in a hurry, pace yourself, NEVER put too much stress on your exercise equipment, like riding a bike in too high a gear, and remember, repetitiveness in exercise is more important than high intensity on the resistance stuff!. If Tour de France competitor Jan Ullrich had learned that years ago, Lance Armstrong would never have been able to claim 7 straight Tour de France victories because Jan Ullrich would be claiming more than the one he won before Lance Armstrong ever got into the race!. I wish I could be of more help than this simple answer here on Answers, but I hope you can understand my focus for you, and you can keep on a regular routine, as boring and as tiring as it sometime may seem!. And remember, don't go for the shortcuts!. There are none!. God Bless you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
