Question: Do I Have Bulimia!?(Please Answer)!?
BEFORE YOU READ THIS,THIS IS MY SISTERS ACCOUNT!(14 yrs old)

Anyway im 11(turning 12) and lately ive been looking at bulimia articles and taking "are you bulimic quizzes" and i got a result that says i am!.!.!.!.i do count like every calorie i eat i try to hardly eat and every morning i feel like throwing up but i never did(dont no if that has anything to do with it) but i dont throw up or feel sick after i eat!.!.!.i also feel guilty when i eat alot of food!.!.im really scared and im only 11!Please help!

oh and im 4 feet 9 inches and i weigh 100 pounds :(

You clearly have an eating disorder, although it probably isn't bulimia!. I had an eating disorder many years ago, and my daughter is just recovering from hers, which began at about the age you are now!.

My suggestion is that, no matter how hard it is, please talk to your parents about this right away!. The longer you are sick with an eating disorder, the harder it is to get better!. Please get help right away!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Okay if your not sticking a toothbrush or finger down your throat nad puking up what you just ate, your not bulimic!. I do think you need to eat 3-4 meals a day!. that means breakfast lunch and dinner, maybe a snack too! You shouldn't feel guilty because your small! I'm 14---5ft and weigh only 85, I just have a fast metabolism!. anyway you should start eating normally!. It's good to eat healthy things like low dairy products and things that don't have alot of sugar!. your only 11, so you don't even need to worry about any of that until your aleast 15!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Bulimics eat a normal or even excessive amount of food and then force themselves to vomit!. Anorexics are obsessed with weight, count calories, eat little and feel guilty about eating!. So I think you are moving towards anorexia!.

Anorexia is a serious health problem and needs treatment!. Talk to your parents about your food obsession and ask them to make an appointment for you with your family doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You shouldn't be counting calories at your age and you probably feel sick because you're hungry, seeing as the sickness goes away once you eat!.

Just eat your 5 a day, eat 3 meals a day and make sure you get enough nutrients!. Do plenty of exercise - you'll get strong muscles and bones whilst also staying a healthy weight!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Im 16 and 4'11 and weigh 96 pounds!. But i really dont care what i eat i eat what ever i want when i want and im still really skinny!. Just dont worry about what you eat your young!. Just be active and you have nothing to worry about:)Www@Answer-Health@Com

To be bulimic you actually have to purge after you eat!. This usually happens in a binge/purge cycle, however extreme cases will make themselves throw up even after eating the littlest of things!.

I have an eating disorder, an EDNOS!. I am not underweight so I can't be considered anorexic but I lost an extreme amount of weight in a really short time and now am sick because of it!. I eat way to little but I have gotten help after I collapsed and had so little energy I couldn't walk!.

My symptoms sound pretty much like yours, afraid of food, guilty after eating, counting the calories of every single thing in sight!. I would get soe help, talk to your parents or someone you trust and then see a doctor or dieticion!. I currently see a doctor, a dieticion and an adolescent counsellor and I think it is really helping!.

I'm 14 by the way!. Anyway, it sounds like there isn't anything drastically wrong yet but that is how it always starts and only gets much worse!. Please get help before it's too late!.
