Has anyone been successful at cutting down on excessive drinking?!

Question: Has anyone been successful at cutting down on excessive drinking!?
I know word is it's impossible to do, but I'm weird that way, strong willed to do things my way!. Other than the fact that I really don't see life without it (pls!. don't make a big deal of that statement) I don't identify with any stories from people in AA or of the many I've read online!. I may be the worlds most functional alchy ever!. What I have is a need to slow down because my experimental dry out hurt like hell at 4 days- so can one cut back!? Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Yeah, it's totally possible!. I did it, I used to party every weekend, and sometimes days during the week!. But, I realized that alcohol adds a lot of empty calories into your diet!. Also, I realized that it takes a toll on your mental health and your productivity!. So, I cut out drinking during the week and made it a habit to drink only on the weekends or every other weekend!. Soon, I began doing different things with my friends rather than drinking and replaced my partying with those activities!. Now I hardly drink at all!. And when I do, it's more like one beer!.!.!.once a month if that!. By cutting down, I just lost the desire to do it!.

Try cutting back, and there is life without it!. If you feel like you can't live without it, you DO have or are developing an alcohol problem!. Most people are functional, but they also have an alochol addiction - even though it doesn't look like it because they have successful jobs and families and such!.

Just give it a break!. And if you can't do it, seriously re-consider your relationship w/ alcohol!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
