Question: Drinking is it good or bad!?
Answers:
i dont drink but thats a personal choice!.

drinking itself is neither good nor bad, its excessive drinking that is extremely antisocial and i believe not acceptable behaviour!.

however attending university (I'm irish!.!.!.yes yes get the irish drinking jokes over now please!) i see so many friends who have failed or screwed up badly becasue of drinking excessively!.

however its also the medium through which people seem to enjoy themselves,and once its consumed responsibily (and people dont puke on my shoes or do stuff akin to that) then i don't have any problem with it!. its all down to personal taste and religion etc!.

Drinking too much and too long is BAD!. Alcohol affects our liver and the rest of our body!. In time, our liver cells will be replaced with those fibrotic ones which would lessen the liver's detoxifying properties!. Ammoniawould then build up in our body and because of fibrosis, there will be obstruction, causing portal hypertension leading to hemorrhoids, decreased blood components due to hepatosplenomegaly--liver and spleen will enlarge, causing your death!. Drinking is really bad if you do it often!.

Some people claim it's beneficial in moderation!.

I think it's a scourge to humanity myself but I have never liked alcohol and have worked as a bartender for over a decade!. I feel very fortunate not to be addicted to the legal dope alcohol!.

Would you eat a rotten apple or drink poison!? Alcohol is fermented grains, potatoes or fruits!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it depends what you drink!.!.
fizzy drinks - bad - fill your body with unwanted toxins and rot ur stomach lining
juice - good in small quantaties - vitamins vs acid
bottle water - good
tap water - not so good - chemicals added to it like chlorine ( altho it keeps your teeth healthy)
spirits - nasty nasty things
beer/lager - ok in moderation
wine - good in moderation - red ine ctually has a lot of vitamins
milk - good cos it lines your stomach and has some good nutrients in it
coffee - too much caffeine will get you hooked and you will feel low without it
squash - ok but quite a lot of chemicals that you dont want
prebiotic yoghurt drinks - good - they contain good bacteria
probiotic yoghurt drinks - good - they feed the good bacteria

It depends on what you drink!.
If you drink 'sake' or similar drinks (a Japanese drink made of rice that tastes alcoholic) its actually really good for your health!.
but drinking too much of anything (even water) is bad for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
