If i do 1000 crunches a day and cardio....results?!


Question: If i do 1000 crunches a day and cardio!.!.!.!.results!?
okay so i am a cardio addict!. i do the tredmill, bike thing for 2 hours and loose 500 calories a day!. i also wear waist reducer to sweat a lot in my stomach area! i really want a flat stomach!. i am already pretty thin!.!.i weigh 117 lbs!. i want to tone up!. my question is if i do 1000 crunches a day plus the gym what will the results be in about 2 months:) thanks for your help!Www@Answer-Health@Com

unfortunately you are approaching this all wrong!. 1000 crunches won't do a thing but waste your time!. sweating from your stomach area won't make your abs show!. if your abs aren't showing its because you have body fat covering them!. so if you have body fat covering them, your diet is messed up AND your cardio isn;t appropriate!.


i can bet you are severely under eating!. at your current weight of 117, you should be eating approx 1400 calories!. where do you stand!?

in addition to knowing you should be eating 1400 calories, it is vital to know that the content of that 1400 needs to be of importance as well!.

specifically i'd recommend this:

75 grams of carbs
140 grams of protein
55 grams of fats

divide that into 3-4 meals!. that should be the nutrient goal of each meal!.

that is wayyyy to much cardio, as well!. cardio should be started at 20-30 mins 3 times per week!. work your way up to days per week!. if your fat loss stalls, then add 10 mins to each session!. after 1 week, check the scalle!. if you are losing fat, COOL, stay there!. if not losing fat, add another 10 mins to each session!. etc etc!. this is called PROGRESSION and should always be adhered to when applying cardio!.

lift weights too!. keep your crunches to 20 reps max!. use weights! weights build muscles, not 1000 repetitions of crunches!. that only builds endurance!. our bodies need resistance to tear down our muscle!. if you don't tear down the muscle, it has no reason to grow!. plus our muscles grow while we rest, not while we exercise!. so limit your ab work to 2 times per week!.

so as you can see, you have been going about your goals all wrong!. the above is what you should be doing!.

I'm no expert on fitness but I was in the military & for gods sake even the most hard core Marines didn't do 2000 crunches per day!. It sounds like you are actually too thin to be doing all of that!. It might be plausible if you eat like a 2000 calorie per day diet or something!. Otherwise you're going a bit Karen Carpenter!.
Sit ups wont kill you but the combination of everything you said sounds wholly unhealthy!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

correct doing sit ups alone will not give you this desired affect, but as you stated you are doing other things as well!. to answer your question i saw brittany spears on ellen back before she had kids and she said she does 1000 crunches a day to get her abs!. and we all know she had a kick a$$ body back in the day!. But you need to be careful and make sure you are eating healthy!. too much exercise and not a good diet can be very unhealthy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
