How can i replace meat in my diet?!


Question: How can i replace meat in my diet!?
i'm 13, and i'm starting a vegetarian diet!.
it's not temporary, either, i'm swearing off meat (for my own beliefs that few of you would understand or appreciate so i'm not wasting my breath explaining why)
anyway i can avoid meat at breakfast and lunch but what are some good substitutions for meat at dinner!? because i don't want to lose all energy, i just want to stop eating dead animals!.
and another thing, my mom's erm!.!.!. well, she's rather obsessed about my health and diet and stuff so how can i maintain a vegetarian diet without starving myself!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

When I was a teenager, I wanted to cut meat as well for the same reasons you do!. The important thing when you become a vegetarian while growing up is not only to make up for the protein but also the essential fatty acid that are complete in meat but partial in other protein sources!. So unless you are going vegan, I recommend that you eat eggs, cheese, milk, yogurt or any other animal product (except meat!!)!. Beans, tofu (soy), nuts and veggies are good protein sources but you have to mixed them in the same meal to have all your essential fatty acid and keep growing!.
Also, with Christmas coming soon, it might be a good idea to ask for cooking books!

My daughter is 13 and will not meat either so these are some things I make her:
If we are having burgers or sausages I get the Bocca brand for her and those are really easy to make and you find them in the freezer section at most grocery stores!.
She also likes grilled portobello mushrooms with bell peppers, cheese, tomatoes & pepperchines wrapped in a tortilla!.
Another important staple in a veggie diet is beans of all kinds!. They are filling and have protein as well!. She eats bean & cheese burritos for dinner all the time!.
Tofu is a good source of protein and can be flavored with taco seasoning & put into tacos instead of meat!. It can also be stir fried with veggies and teriaki or another Asian style seasoning and poured over whole grain rice!.

my sister is also a vegetarian
when she started being one i was like zomg she will lose weight
but she's my same fatty girl who i love lol
she just eat lots of proteins!.!. in the vegis, pastas and drink natural stuffs
and with meat !.!. there is this "fake meat"!.!. its reaaallly cheap and easy to cook!.!. its made of soya!.!. i've eat it!.!. and its not that bad :P tastes like chicken lol!.!.in my country its called "protemas" idk what's the branch name in your country!.!.!. there is also "meat" based by mushrooms!.!.and sandwichs!.!. they can be made of vegies to :)
so you wont starve!.!. no worries

but with the time!.!. she just got used to it
