Question: When Should I Take My Creatine!?
my creatine container says to take after a workout or first thing in the morning when i do not workout,
but i lift weights 2 to 3 times a week and do the elliptical the other 4 to 5 days, does the elliptical count as a workout or is it just weight training!?

It really doesn't matter, so long as you take it consistently!. The idea is to take some pretty much every day to keep the stored amounts of creatine higher than they would normally be!. When the package says 'workout' it refers to a resistance training sessions (weights, w/e); this is because your uptake of creatine/protein/etc is elevated for up to an hour or so afterwards!. Cardio (elyptical, running, etc) doesn't significantly increase uptake!. Timing really doesn't make much of a difference though!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

creatine helps to increase ATP store in muscle (anaerobic energy store) and this brings more power and strength and greater mass mainly because of water retention in muscules!. I think its not necessary to take after you do cardio or elliptical because your goal is loosing fat!. I suggest to take fast absorbing protein with appropriate dose of glutamin and low carb/calorie for a good recovery after cardio exercises and taking the both after weight training to increase the mass of desired muscules!. You really don't need to be on it if you only lift a couple times a week!. Your body already produces creatine and since you don't lift that much, you won't have the need for more!. You'd be wasting your money because for it to be effective, you need to keep it in your system and take it at least once a day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Creatine is really only going to help you when doing weight training!. Because it gives your muscles ATP that will help with explosive movements like moving heavy weights!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should take creatine every day!. It does not matter when you tke it because it is held in your muscles for us when it is needed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
