No, you do not need protein shakes!. A good diet is much better!. The only need for them is if your having trouble getting enough protein, which isn't really that hard to do!. Eggs, milk, and some meat are much better choices!. Also, your workouts might be overkill, 3 days a week for weight training is enough!. Remember the gym only stimulates your muscles while proper nutrition and rest is what rebuilds them!. Try not to kill yourself running so much unless you enjoy it!. You can do more with a good diet and walking a couple of miles everyday!. Consistency is the key!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, protein shakes are a great source of protein and energy!. Generally speaking you should aim for roughly 1 gram of protein per 1 pound of body weight!. Try to aim for about 150 grams of protein, this can come from protein shakes as well as lean proteins such as fish, and chicken!. Combine these forms of protein with complex carbs (i!.e!. salads, green vegetables, fruits) and you will absolutely reach your desired goals!.
One word of caution, and whey protein shake will be sufficient, do not buy into gimmicks and well marketed over-priced shakes, and decent whey protein shake will do just fine, hope this helps, and good luck on your goals!.

I would go to a pharmacy or drug store!. My brother and dad work out a lot and they drink protein shakes, so if you want to gain weight and muscle, i would look into them!. Only drink the amount of shakes the label on the box of the container says, it might make you sick if you overdose, or something like that!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

maybe you should eat and drink: eggs, milk, cream sour, chiken chest!.Plus you should eat dayly healthy food, like rice with salad,a fruit salad, fruit juice, vegetable juice(tomato, carrot) etc!.And of course you should make a lot of exercises like you said, but it's better if you will play basket, football etc!.They help you to not get fat and show up your natural muscles(not those buffed up)!.
So good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

nope, protein shakes only help you gain mass/muscle, and with your routine, it certainly will give you more muscle than you want!.

in terms of weights, 10's will tone you up not 20kg's it's all about repetition!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

Protein shakes serve as a good part of almost any fitness regimen!. Here are some of the benefits of Protein in terms of the goals you are trying to achieve:

Protein is more difficult for your body to process, meaning you actually burn calories just through the digestion process!.

Protein makes you feel fuller than other foods (like carbs / fats)!.

When you work out, your body needs nutrients!. The goal is for your body to take away from the stored fat cells, rather than the muscle tissue!. I have noticed that when I increase my running routine to anything over 4 miles per day, my body will start to consume the muscle tissue just as much as the fat (not good)!. Think of the protein shakes as a way to simply keep your muscle tissue fed so your body can search elsewhere for what it needs in terms of nutrient's!.

Most importantly, make sure to drink a shake immediately (literally, bring the shake with you to the gym) after all workouts!. You will get better results from your workout in doing this!. Without the protein there for your body to start consuming, your muscle tissue won't repair properly!.

Depending on your protein, I'm guessing that your shakes should have roughly 20-30 grams of pure protein!. Since your body can only process about 30-40 grams in an hour, I would say to have one after your workout and another in between each meal!. To keep your calorie intake at a normal level, you may need to lower the size of your regular meals to even everything out!.

For you, I would recommend trying to consume between 90 and 130 grams of protein per day (the standard recommendation is 1!.2 - 1!.8 grams per kilogram of body weight - you weigh 73 kilograms)!.

The consumption of the protein should be on a steady basis throughout the day!. Buy a shaker and fill it up with two servings and just bring it with you in the car, backpack, etc!. Then you can drink half and have the other half with you to drink in another hour or two!.

Also note that you do need fats for your body to be able to carry the nutrients (like the protein) through your blood stream!. For this, mixed nuts are the healthiest approach (just a handful here and there as a snack)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
