Protein intake during off days?!


Question: Protein intake during off days!?
I lift weights 5 days a week and do cardio 5-6 days a week!?

Saturday and Sundays are my two off days from weightlifting,

Saturday I'll do some cardio but that's it!.

My question is I usually consume at least 1gram of protein/pound of bodyweight during the days I lift weights, but during my off days should I consume just as much protein or less!?

I feel like I am eating too much protein if i eat the same amount on my off days when i sometimes just sit around the house and don't do in any activity at all!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Your protein intake should stay the same all the time!. Protein is being used to repair muscle tissue, and even though you are not at the gym those muscles are still repairing!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Cut back!. Eat 4 ounces per meal only, 3 times a day on your off days!. 4 ounces is about the size of the palm of your hand!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
