If i work out after i eat?!


Question: If i work out after i eat!?
If i go for run or do sit ups straight after i eat, will it burn my food faster because i burn it before laying in my stomach !?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's actually the opposite!. Exercising revs up your metabolism, so if you eat something after exercising, you will burn off the calories faster!. However, it is always a good idea to eat something small about 30min-1hr before you exercise!. I recommend having a small amount of carbs (toast or a piece of fresh fruit would be good)!. The carbs will give you energy, allowing you to workout harder and longer, thus burning more calories!. Afterwards, i would have something with protein!. They say low-fat or fat free milk is the absolute best thing to have after exercising!.
