SHOULDER PRESSES? LIFTING ABOVE HEAD? BAD IN THE LONG RUN?!


Question: SHOULDER PRESSES!? LIFTING ABOVE HEAD!? BAD IN THE LONG RUN!?
my doctor said when he was in highschool his friends and him would always lift together and they did military presses and lateral raises along with many other things!. BUT, i think he is in his 40's and he says him and his buddies all have shoulder problems!? could it be true that they're bad or is there a right way to do it, because they coudve just been overworking themWww@Answer-Health@Com

I'll bet, if you ask him, your doctor will tell you that he and his friends were using maximum amounts of weight!. If you start real low and work your way up I don't think that will make you any more prone to problems than genetics makes you!.
