Question: Please help a girl out!?
okay!.!.!. this weekend has been!.!.!.!. full of food!.
-----first, i am 14 years old!. i weigh 123 and am 5'6

-----friday, i had 750 calories!. then dinner came!. I had 1/2 of a medium popcorn and almost a whole bag of movie m&ms!

------then, saturday!. i had 1/4 of a shlotzkey sandwich, 1/2 cup of soup, a bag of m&ms, a cup of baked turkey, and about 15 of chocolate covered pretzals!.

------then, today!. i had a cup of cofee with 3 tbsp cream, a bag of m&ms, handful of peanuts, and 5 ritz crackers!

----- i usually NEVER eat chocolate!. i got on the scale a minute ago, i weigh 128! i am on my period, but STILL! am i going to pernamently gain!? and how many calories can i wat for the rest of the day!? goshWww@Answer-Health@Com

Period does add pounds!. You may have gained a pound of two at the most from the junk food!. I know clients who actually put on about 10-12 pounds when they get their period!. Try eat more healthy everyday (veggie, fruit, protein,etc!.) Splurging once in awhile is not bad!. But constantly can have consequences!. For the next few day cut back on the carbs!. Fill up on veggies, fruit, and protein!. Eat a wide variety so you don't get board!. And STOP with the candy!. Everything else isn't bad but you don't eat any veggies!? Fruit!? Dairy!? Protein!?

You need to start a new lifestyle!. You eat tons of starches!. Stop with the junk food, fast food, sugar, and fatty meals!. Start with the veggies, fruit, protein, dairy, etc!. Follow the pyramid!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You can't permanently gain weight, it can always be lost through exercise, so just relax!. Food is not your enemy, it is your ally!. It helps your body function!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

wow for your height and weight you can at whatever you want!! but to be healthy here is a good schedule to keep you active and eat right!!

Ok well first you need to get a membership at the gym and go everyday!

At the gym you will do!.!.!.!.

30 minutes on the stationary bike

20 minutes on elliptical

20 minutes running on treadmill

make sure to do a 5-10 minute cool down after!

You need to eat right!. Watch your calories eat what you need to get through the day instead of for fun!. Think of food as survival!.

You need 1500 calorie intake in one day!.

For breakfast: 2-3 scrambled egg whites
For Lunch: any salad with a low fat dressing(don't drown the salad)
For dinner: Grilled fish or chicken with vegetable
For dessert: Angel food cake( this is non fat and has hardly any calories great dessert and it also comes in chocolate!!), frozen yogurt, or meringue cookies

snacks: munch on quakers rice cakes (they are actually really good even though they are rice cakes!!), fruit is always a good snack, original wheat thins

Drinks: Water, you may think that juice is a good option but juice has a lot of calories so stick to just water!!

If you got on the scale after eating the stuff you said today, then you were also weighing the physical weight of that food, and not your body weight so dont worry, its normal to gain up to 5 pounds throughout the day due to what we drink and eat!. Weigh yourself tomorrow morning as soon as you get up, before you eat or drink and you will find that it will be less than 128!. If it is more than 123, then what you gained is just water weight and will come off easily if you cut out the chocolate every day and stuff!. You didn't really eat that much chocolate to be honest with you, and if you only ate the stuff you listed today then you really havn't eaten much, or enough!. Try something healthy for dinner tonight like grilled chicken with some vegetables and drink lots of water for the rest of the day!. :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

You do know you're starving yourself, and slowly killing yourself, right!?
You need to eat about 2000 calories a day!. I would absolutely kill to be 5'6 and 123 pounds!. Not everyone is as lucky as you!.
Cut out the chocolate and junk, eat veggies and fruit and whole - wheats!.
Take care of your body -- you're doing nothing but making yourself gain weight by eating so unhealthy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Jeezus! quit reading those stupid model magazines and quit comparing yourself to others!. You are perfect weight for your age and size!. It sounds like you are eating poorly though!. Eat the whole schlotkys sandwich and skip the popcorn and chips!. You are not eating enough, but when you do eat, you are eating the wrong foods!. Eat more vegetables (raw and steamed), more meat or protein (stat away from soy, it messes with your hormones and causes breast cancer)!.

When you are on your period it is normal to gain about 5 pounds!.

One other thing!. Quit weighing yourself!. It is something you should do only once a week or once a month!. You can tell if you are gaining by how your clothes fit and how you feel!. You need to find a nutritionist to talk to about how you are eating and a psycologist to talk to about what you are thinking in relation to your weight and looks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
