What i do, is i print out a picture of a really really skinny person,

and carry it around with me!.

when i get hungry, i take the picture out and look at it,

and i dont want to eat afterwards because i know if i eat then i dont have self control!.

and as for exercise, you have to MAKE yourself exercise!.
otherwise you'll never do it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should go shopping and find some nice new clothes and think about how great you will look in them when you lose the weight, get pictures of celebrities with bodies the way you want yours to look!. You need to have the strength and will power to stay positive and do the exercise!. You will feel so much better because it increases your metabolism and releases happy hormones when you get your heart rate up!. Exercise will also decrease your appetite and make you less likely to binge on comfort food!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi there!.
It is SO hard, what you are doing - I know! Work just drains you, so does the traveling and it is all too much effort!. motivation is not going to do the job, use bloody-mindedness instead!.

I found this solution works for me, and that was to do the exercise in my lunch break!. Before work was too early, after work I just want to drop in my tracks, so lunchtime!.
There is a swimming pool handy to work, so I took out a membership and I go down for a half-hour swim every day!. It is a drag, but if you can crack it over a few weeks and make it a habit it pays off - you will feel fitter, better and more confident, you will sleep easier as your body is tired as well as your brain!.

Aerobics, swimming, gym work, even a quick walk - it will pay off, the trick is to make it routine and never miss it!. Forget motivation, it needs to be part of your routine - you dragged yourself to work so you drag yourself to the gym (or whatever)!. A lot of days you will think "I can't be bothered" but then you GO ANYWAY! it is part of your day and can't be avoided, like a meeting you must attend!.

Good luck, Steve!.

I think you are going about it the wrong way round!. If you have self-esteem problems problems when you are pounds overweight, they won't go away just because you lose weight!. I think you might have a sugar problem even though not diagnosed!. Look up Prevention!. com, and you will find many ways to stabilize your eating problems!. The self-esteem and weight problems are symptoms of something deeper!. You need to talk to a psychiatrist and perhaps get medication!. When your moods are stabilized, perhaps motivation will them come!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The irony is of course, is that doing some exercise would help you feel better mentally!. It'll also help you feel more motivated and have more energy!. But I am exactly like you, and have neither the energy nor inclination to get off my bum to do any exercise! Argh!Www@Answer-Health@Com
