After lifting dumbells my arms feel all light. does that mean i had a good worko!

Question: After lifting dumbells my arms feel all light!. does that mean i had a good workout!?
Answers:
It's called a "pump", it's awesome, learn to love it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's called a pump, and yes it feels great, but it doesn't always mean you had a great workout!. I could bench 50 lbs for 100 reps and get a pump, but my workout wouldn't be very good or I could bench 275 lbs for 5 reps and get a pump, AND a good workout!. To many people place emphasis on the pump and time in the gym!. Less time is better in the gymWww@Answer-Health@Com

not at all,
It simply means you where holding weight for a while there by the muscles adapted to this and when you put the weights down your muscles where still tensed to hold the weight you where holding!. there by making your arms feel lighter!.
As for a good workout that depends on what your reps and set up is!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Usually, yes!. It most likely means that a lot of blood is pumping to your arms, signaling that they had to work hard to move the weight you lifted!. If a few hours later or the next day your arms are somewhat sore without being painful, you will know for sure!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

After a while after exercising your body produces lactic acid, making your arms feel heavy, so when you stop the lactic acid goes away!.

The lactic acid shows your work-out was sufficient, good work!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
