Any suggestions on dealing with gaining Holiday pounds?!

Question: Any suggestions on dealing with gaining Holiday pounds!?
I exercise regularly!. Always have and usually have a good handle on my weight!. But THIS year, I discovered Bon Appetite & every recipe is loaded with butter & cream & cheese and, well!.!.!.my resistance is low!.!.!.the results are SO delicious! And since I have more behind me than in front of me (thats YEARS, not BOOTY, btw) the soft stuff seems to appear more quickly now & go away more slowly!.

I know, I should push away the plate & do a little more cardio, but these are not the happiest times & refuge in food (especially GOOD food) is very seductive!.

So, what do YOU do to keep away/off the holiday pounds!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I did the following for Halloween night when I had a big bowl of candy for trick-or-treaters!. I cut up a bunch of celery and put the bowl near the candy!. Each time I had an urge to eat candy, I would alternate with celery and candy!. My ratio was about 3 pieces of celery to 1 piece of candy!. I ended up eating maybe 3 pieces of candy as I was tired of chewing celery and my stomach was full!.

Sometime similar could be done for the Christmas goodies!. Go ahead and eat some of it, but mix with bites of low cal, healthy snacks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
