Question: Fear of LOSING weight!?
I know there is anorexia and bulemia that causes fear of gaining weight!. !. but is there any name for when someone is afraid to lose weight!? Because my close friend use to be very small {5 '5 weighing 90 pounds and she ate like a horse & never gained a pound} now she is 115 and she looks healthy now but she has to constantly eat because shes afraid of losing weight & looking sickly & she says all she sees in the mirror is skin & bones which isnt true to other ppl! She sees herself far different then everyone else does!. Is this a type of disorder!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

hm, it sounds like she might have ED-NOS (eating disorder, not otherwise specified)- for this to be the case though the eating would have be be hurting her everyday life/functioning!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
