Is it a bad idea to skip dinner!?

Answers:
In order to lose weight, you need to eat less calories than you burn!. But skipping meals isn't a good idea!.!.!.

By skipping meals you are reducing the levels of energy you have in your body, slowing down your metabolism (aka!. the rate you burn energy up which makes it harder for you to lose weight later), and hurting your body by not giving it enough nutrients!.

Humans eat for a reason, to give us energy, to help our body function and to be healthy!.

If you want to lose weight, just reduce calorie intake, not meals!. If you want a lighter meal just remove a part of it, have smaller portions or just have a light snack!.

I'd recommend just reducing all of your meals a tiny bit rather than a bigger part of one meal!. If you reduce one meal a lot, it makes you think you haven't eaten enough, then you go back for more!.!.!. I've had this experience!.

If you don't eat when you feel hungry, then your body goes into an energy saving mode by slowing down your metabolism!. Which can lead to weight gain and possibly obesity!.

Your best bet is to eat when you are hungry but make sure that you eat only food that has a lot of bulk relative to the amount of calories!. Such food will fill your stomach and satisfy your feeling of hunger without giving you an excessive amount of calories!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well yes, unless you have already had a dinner like around 4ish,and you plan on going to bed really soon!.
