Which of these WORKOUTS are better?!

Question: Which of these WORKOUTS are better!?
my niece and i both use an elliptical but do totally different workouts

we both do a 30 minute routine but she goes non stop all the way through but through about half of it she really labors and is hardly moving the thing, she finishes with maybe 2!.5 miles, often less!.

i pace myself, i do 5 minutes and rest a few, by the time i am done i usually have gone about 3!.6 or 3!.7 miles and am sweating my a*s off,

i say it is better to pace yourself and go longer rather than trying to do all at once and not getting, what i think is not as good of a workout,

what do you think!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I think your workout is better!. Do intervals does a myriad of good things for the body!. It burns more fat and is good for your heart and keeps your blood pressure at a healthy level!. If you do 5 minute or less intervals, at about 80% of your maximum heart rate (your max rate is about 220 minus your age), you will reap the benefits of an interval workout!. I recommend doing 6-8 intervals of 3-5 minutes a piece, followed by a 2 minute slow period!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you're both exercising for 30 minutes and your heart rates are both in the 70-80% of your maximum range, then you're pretty much getting the same workout!. I say, don't worry about comparing!. You should each do the workout that makes you feel good and the one that you enjoy!. The only workouts that are bad are the ones that overdo it or the ones you don't complete!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hate to tell you this but your niece is getting a better work out than you because her training is more of a interval type (exhaustive)!.

Take a look at http://www!.how-to-get-a-six-pack!.biz!. The title is a little misleading but it is the best workout program that I have ever done!. And they'll explain my answer in more detail!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

More sweat does not equal effectiveness!.It is the technique which determine if a workout is good
