What should i do? please help!?!

Question: What should i do!? please help!!?
I run about 5-6 days a week for either an hour or a half hour!. For some reason whenever i run my leg muscles get really bulky!. i don't think i am over exercising!. i play soccer so my legs have always been muscular!. I want to either run every other day or stop running altogether but i am afraid my metabolism will slow down!. I have been on a diet and i think that the amount of muscle i have gained from running has slowed down the amount of weight i am losing!. I am an 18 year old female and i am 5'5" and weigh 112!. What should i do!? If i stop exercising will i gain weight!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
run slower and longer distance!. if u look at the Olympic people the sprinters are very built and have large muscles but the long distance runners are much leaner!. if u run longer and slower the muscles will stay as strong but should go down in sizeWww@Answer-Health@Com

What exactly is your goal here!? It sounds like you're completely obsessed with the numbers on the scale and not interested at all in your actual HEALTH!.

So you have muscular thighs!. So what!? It shows that you're a strong, healthy girl who keeps active and is genetically inclined towards building muscle!.

Are you worried that weighing more makes you 'fat' even though you know perfectly well that it's muscle!? If so, read that sentence over a few more times until it sinks in how screwed up that is!. :)

Are you worried that guys won't like you if you look too strong!? (That's probably true of some guys, but then, some guys won't like you if you look too weak!. Some won't like you unless you're white or black or blonde or redhaired or goodness only knows what else!. It is SO not worth worrying about!. You cannot please everyone!.)

As for whether or not you'll gain weight - if you've been dieting and losing weight it is 95% certain that you will gain weight again no matter WHAT you do!. The body tries to repair itself!. Every diet works for a while and then suddenly stops working!. That's how the industry makes so much money - every diet 'fails', so everyone has to buy another one!. The faster you lose it, the faster it comes back, and the more likely you are to gain more than you lose!. If you lose it slowly and without doing anything crazy it'll probably stay off for a few years!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
