Question: Is it possible for a person to increase his/her weight in 8 days!? by how much!?
i've heard of someone that ate twice his regular intake and actually managed to do it!! is it really possible!?!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Oh, sure!

The key is to eat lots of calories!. There are some foods that make it easier to eat lots of calories!. Mostly, these are carbs and fat!. For example, cyclists on the Tour de France eat more than 10,000 calories a day (because they burn off that much pedaling hard all day)!. They eat mostly pasta, with rich sauce!. Carbs and fat!.

Foods that have a lot of calories and not too much bulk (so you can eat a lot of calories without exploding) are: pasta, ice cream, soda, candy (especially chocolate), any kind of fried chip (potato, tortilla, etc)!. Fritos are especially good!. Some people can eat lots of meat!. (For example: I can eat half a chicken, a quarter of a turkey, or about 1-1/2 lbs of steak in a sitting!.)

Also, salt will cause you to retain water, which is very heavy: one gallon weighs 8 pounds!. (If you ever hear of someone losing more than 1 pound in a day, you can be sure it's water!.)

It's reasonable to think you could gain 10 lbs in 8 days, even if you're a teenager, if you just eat all you can stand of the above foods, as often as possible (maybe 5 meals a day, with snacks in between) and avoid foods that have few calories and fill you up: vegetables, fruit, anything "diet" or lowfat or high in fiber!.

Also, try not to get more than the minimum amount of exercise to not feel sick, since exercise burns off calories!.

Basically, you just take all the diet advice, and do the opposite!.

If you're a teen, 10 lbs may be a reasonable maximum amount, especially if you're somewhat active and can't eat in class!. If you're over about 20, you can probably gain more like 20 lbs in 8 days, since the metabolism slows down for most people in their early 20s!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
