How would I strength train and not get huge?!


Question: How would I strength train and not get huge!?
I'm a very large person!. and I need to do some strength training in addition to my regular exercise routine but i've heard that when you start lifting weights it tones you but also turns your fat to muscle!. I'm a very overweight person with a LOT of fat to turn in to muscle which would be great if I were a guy but I'm not!. Can I do strength training and still be feminine at the end of it!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

you CANNOT turn fat into muscle!.!.!. its like trying to turn a metal pole into a block of wood!.!.!.

females simply do not produce the testosterone required to make bodybuilder like physiques which is why female body builders often turn to steroids - but this also makes their bodys look masculine

you can do strength training and look great once you have lose the excess fat - muscles respond better to heavier weights - many people waste a lot of time by doing reps with weights that are no heavier than a can of beans

even guys who lift heavy weights do not grow into monsters without the correct commitment and diet - you can lift as much as you like but wont grow without protein

so do not worry - you should combine strength training with your cardio and your muscles will be toning up under the fat ready to be looking amazing when you get to where you want to be!.!.!.

What it is the more muscle you have the better your body burns calories so it helps with fat loss!. Adding just one pound of lean muscle mass can burn you roughly 100 extra calories burned per day even at rest!. Its good at helping get that body fat % down!.
But it does not turn the muscle into fat!.!. it simply helps your body burn fat!. You can definitely be feminine at the end! Unless there is an hormone imbalance women do not naturally produce the hormones men have that make them as big or bulky!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think by strength training you mean lifting weights!.
Research has found that a combination of weight excercises and cardio is the best way to lose weight!.
What you need to do is to focus on increasing the number of repatitions you do!. Try doing 15 reps of each excercise 3 times!.
When you increase the weight you excercise with ( that you can do less than say 8 reps), this is when you start bulking up muscles!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is a myth that strength training will make you look bulky!. You will not get huge!. Weight lifters get huge because they do like insane amount of lifting a day like many hours and then bulk up with protein powders and drinks!. If you do like 20 minutes every other day you will not be bulky!. Strength training is good for women increases bone density which prevents osteoporosis (Bone loss)!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
