I'm assuming there is not time limit for your weight loss!.

A 200 lb person requires 3000 calories a day to MAINTAIN that weight!. That's 15 calories a pound!. So if a 200 lb man wants to GAIN weight he needs to eat more than 3000 calories a day!. If he wants to LOSE weight then he has to eat less than 3000 calories a day!.

This does not take into account exercise!. This is strictly every day work and sleep requirements!.

So I recommend you eat 5 or 6 meals a day to speed up your metabolism!. Multiply YOUR weight by 15 and it will give you your daily calorie requirement!. Then divide that by 5 or 6 meals!. Spread those 5 or 6 meals out throughout the day!.

A big mac and fries is about 1000 calories to put it in perspective!. That's not the type of calories you should be eating though!. You need to eat healthy food!. 1 or 2 big macs a week won't kill you but it hurts your will power to lose weight!. Try very VERY hard to limit your big mac types of food to once a week!.

Think of the Jarrad diet!. He spread those subway sandwiches out over the day!.

Don't get discouraged though!.!.!.!. It will take time to lose the way you want!. Its not going to happen over night!. It may take a few months (2 - 3) but you will see weight loss if you follow my advice!.

Almost forgot!.!.!.

Lets say you weigh 300 lbs and you want to get down to 200 lbs!. You need to eat 3000 calories a day to get to that!. Whatever weight you want to be then multiply that by 15 and that's the weight you will get to!. Up or down it doesn't matter!. Whatever weight you want then multiply that by 15 and eat that amount of calories spread out over 5 or 6 meals!.

It's hard for me to tell you without any side information!. If you're just a lazy eater who eats when they're bored, then one of the most useful things I can tell you is to drink water instead of eating snack foods all the time!. It really does fill you up!. If that's too bland for you, put some of that weight loss powder stuff in your water!. I got strawberry banana the other day and not only does it replace the bad snacks I used to eat, it's all really healthy and gives me energy and keeps me filled up until the next meal of the day!.

If you're a chronic over eater and eat all day every day, I would get a gym membership (I've seen ones as cheap as $20 a month so you don't have to do it at LA Fitness for $60 a month if you don't want) and STICK to your workout schedule!. This is what I would suggest if you cannot afford a personal Trainer!. Start eating fruits and vegetables on a regular basis!. I'd start out by eating them every morning and continue doing that and try to integrate them into your daily food intake!. Also continue drinking water over any other beverage if you can!. Even apple juice and OJ has a lot of sugar in it so water might be the best plan at any time during the day!.

If your weight issues are genetic however, there is nothing that I could tell you!. Just go see the family doctor and find out what you can do to improve your condition!. I'm not really sure what he would have you do because I don't know anybody like that but seeing a doctor would be the best course of action in that scenario!.

I was overweight myself and I lost 45 pounds in one year just by doing the top choice!. I didn't take any weight loss pills or liposuction or any of that!. It's all about the Cardio!. The best way to lose weight is Running, Swimming or Biking!. Most people choose to run cuz it's cheap and convenient!. If you can't run yet, start by walk/jogging which is when you walk a set distance or time and jog a set distance or time and cycle between , so walk a minute, jog a minute, walk a minute, jog a minute or whatever until you can go for a good distance!. Try to build up to 3 miles a day, apparently that's the best distance for most efficient results!. Well, first off you need to search for a BMR calculator (On google), and this will tell you an estimate of how many calories you should consume to maintain your weight!. You should eat around 500 calories less than that!.
As far as exercise, cardio is the best way to go!. Walkin, biking, running, etc!. If you have a treadmil that estimates the calories you've burned, then you should try to burn around 400 - 500 calories!.
Remember that starving yourself is NOT a good idea! If you mess up by eating something not so light, do not just start eating everything you can!. Just remind yourself of your goal!. After all, it will be a long process that will not happen over night!.
It sounds easy, but I know it ISN'T!. Just do your best!. Measure your progress by weighing yourself once a week at the same time of day!. This is important because your weight flucuates throughout the day!.
