Is 145 lbs. really that bad?!


Question: Is 145 lbs!. really that bad!?
I am losing weight and it is going ok!. I started at 150 something, very close to 160!. I actually believe that I was in the 60's, maybe even 70's!. Reading some other answers from other questions, it makes it look like 145 is fat!? is it really!? like come on! 200 is pretty bad, but 145!? I know that is a TAD BIT overweight, but not enough to kill you or anything!. I just feel like people over 130 lbs is fat! and it really isn't! Society portrays that women should weigh in the 110's!. There is too much pressure!. I am happy being a little curvy but not really when I look at skinner people!. Now tell me, is it really that bad to be 145!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am 5'8 and I weigh 150!. I am not fat but I do have a little bit of lower stomach issues (3 kids)!. I am going to try and lose weight though and see what happens but I do not want to weigh 110 either, My guy loves me for who I am and I am not down on myself wither I am just trying to become a little healthier this year and maybe feel more confident in a bikini!. If you love yourself the way you are than be happy about it!. i would prefer curves over just plain bone (too skinny is gross)!. I wish you well!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It isn't bad, but it really depends on your overall health and circumstances!. 5'5" and 145 is just considered slightly overweight!. If you have a large frame, then it's fine as long as your blood pressure is in check and you get regular exercise!. Congratulations on your weight loss so far!. I don't think 130 is bad either!. I think being extremely overweight or underweight is unhealthy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No that's not bad at all!.Congrats on the weight loss!.I was always skinny like 100-115 pounds till after I had my 3rd child and then it was harder to loose all the weight!.I am 5'2 and now weigh 140 for me that is heavy and when you are short i is much more noticeable!.I would like to loose 20 pounds,I am working on it! Really, weight isn't an issue!. Muscle weighs more than fot, so you should really go off BMI!. But either way, 145 i fine unless you're supershort!. I wouldn't worry about it, hon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It depends on your height really!.!.!. but for an average height 145 is fine!. The BMI index (according to the CDC website) classifies 145 in the healthy weight category for anyone 5ft4 and over!. I think many people have a very distorted idea of what is healthy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
