Is this fat or what?? im confused?!


Question: Is this fat or what!?!? im confused!?
im 13 and im bout 5'3 and weigh round 114-117!. i wanna lose weight but idk how!.!. like i heard all the tricks, eating right, working out, anorexia and all that other stuff!. can someone give me a good diet that would be easy to do and a easy workout that maybe u have tried b4 and u lost weight within a week!. I already do 300 crunches a nightt and i run 1/2 a mile everyday but mondays i run a mile!. Also i play bball and soccer so that gives me a lot more running as well
so yea a good work out that would be quick and easy to do but help loose weight in like a week or two!. and a diet plan

From what info you've provided it sounds like you are at about your ideal weight for your size!. Additionally, you have a BMI (Body Mass Index) of 20!.8 which is right in the middle of normal - 18!.5 to 24!.9 is considered normal!. Especially since you are physically active and involved in athletics - muscle weighs more than fat, so a muscular person will often weigh more than a non-muscular person of the same general size!.

Are there particular areas that you are concerned about - butt, thighs, waist, whatever!? If you run about 5 miles a week, do 300 crunches a night, and play basket ball and soccer - I can't believe that you are carrying 50 or 60 pounds of excess fat around your waist or hips - or even 15 pounds!.

At 13 you are still growing, and your body is going to change - a lot - before you are done!. Everybody wants to look nice, healthy and attractive - and this is a tough age!. I feel for you!.!.!.

If it helps any, I can tell you that a lot of guys like to be around strong women!. The skinny, under-nourished, stick-figure, helpless female image may look good in clothing advertisements, but it is a LOT more fun to be around strong women who aren't afraid to sweat, get dirty, and compete hard when they want to!.

If you look at the olympic atheletes from last summer or look at professional ball room dancers and ballerinas - you'll see that they are all very muscular, and all very graceful, all sexy and beautiful!. Not muscular like men, with bugling muscles and veins popping out, - women don't normally have the hormones make bulging muscles!. But there is something very graceful and attractive about strong shoulders and a strong back - look at Michaelangelo's drawings or any of the other Renaissance or Greek classical art!. And runners and dancers (men and women) always have the best looking legs!.

From what you have said, it sounds like you look great! I certainly wouldn't consider trying to lose weight unless there is something specific and unusual you haven't told us!. Don't get sucked into trying to look like an underweigh fashion model who couldn't run up the stairs without fainting!. It's not really attractive (unless you have a professional photographers who will touch up your photos), its not really healthy, and its not a lot of fun to be around!.!.!.

You're definitely NOT fat at all!.

If you want to be more toned, try cutting down on snacks, and choosing healthier meal-options!. You could also run a bit more, although you sound active enough!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Trust me, you are just perfect, you don't need to lose weight!. Numbers on the scale don't mean much!. You are a very active person, which is fantastic, so don't stop that!. Just make healthy food choices, there is no need for a certain diet!. Try following the Canadian or American Food guide to insure you are getting the nutrients!.
Since you are an active person, you probably have more muscle, which weighs more than fat, causing the number on the scale to be slightly higher than you think it should be!. This is normal, you are a healthy weight, so there is no reason to change it!.

Well, for your age, height, and weight, you're normal! Your BMI (Body Mass Index) says you are a 20!.5, which is a normal weight!. You don't need to lose any weight :)

At 13 years old, you don't need to worry about your weight just yet, dear!. You are definitely still growing and your body isn't finished changing yet!. It's ok to relax and stop thinking about it!.
At 5'3 it is healthy to be from 105 to 140 pounds!. You fall right into this category very nicely- this means you are at a very good weight right now already!.

Even though BMI is a good way to calculate is somebody's weight is generally healthy or not ( This is the method I just used to give you the above numbers), for people under the age of 18 it is better to use charts!.
At your age and weight, you are in about the 60th percentile!. This means that about 60% of girls your age are lighter than you and 40% are heavier!. So, you're really normal! That's almost smack in the middle!

You sound like you're doing a lot of excercise!. Your BMR is about 1390!. This means you would burn off that many colories just by sitting in bed all day!. Once you add all the calories burned from the running you do and stuff, you could eat junk food and still lose weight!.

If what you really want is a good diet, sure:
~Plenty of raw veggies and fruit! If you don't have a lot, ask your mom to get you multivitamins!.
~Drink at least a few glasses of water every day
~Try not to overdo the candy/soda!. But it's okay to have a treat :)
~Make sure you drink milk
~Eggs, fish and meat will help you build muscle!. Have them when you ae hungry after exercising!.

I'm not going to give you my own diet plan because I'm ashamed of it!. I'm a very sick little girl and I don't eat enough!. So I'm going to warn you now- being really skinny doesn't make you happy!. It just makes life really really difficult!.
You just need to relax because you sound like your current plan is excellent and your body is in awesome healthy shape right now- which is so good!Www@Answer-Health@Com
