Question: Weight issues!. vomiting to loose weight!. sos!!?
im having a hard time loosing weight, and don't know what else to do!. i tried starving myself eating once a day!. that did work but once i stopped seems like i ate way more and gained the weight right back!. i tried dieting and i can't stick with it!. so now i am considering on vomiting to shed some weight!. i know everyone says it is bad cause of this or that!. but honestly my friend has done it for years and she is not sick at all!. and she is thin a good thin not a bulimic thin!. any feedback!? should i pursue this!? do you have a weight loss plan that has worked!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Trust me, I've battled with weight most of my life, I was always active and never as thin as the other girls!. In HS I was involved in every sport known to man-I thought I was fat, turns out, I would kill for that athletic body I had back in HS!.
I'm sure you've heard of the severe medical effects of being bulimic!.!.!.as well as the acidity from your stomach wearing off the enamel from your teeth and so on!. It is not a good idea!.
Eating once a day is not a good idea!. Your body runs off of metabolism, when you consume too little foods, your body stores fat and your metabolism slows down!. Only to keep you from losing weight, and making it easier to gain!.!.!.
You should add more activity to your daily routine and eat healthier!.
You would be surprised with how many calories you burn just doing every day activities, like doing dishes, or laundry, making the bed and vacuuming!. Maybe taking your dog for a walk!.
Keep a daily log of the food that you do intake-even if you have a stick of gum or a handful of popcorn!. Most people do not realize the calories they consume!. Think of it this way, an apple is healthy, and it contains natural sugars which are carbs and also has about 60 calories!.!.!.all in all, but, people don't realize the amount of food and calories you consume on a daily basis!. I would reccomend that you try to lose weight and be healthy! :) Oh, and try to get your friend some counseling for her eating DISORDER!Www@Answer-Health@Com

weight watchers is working great for me!. any diet that tells you to eat only their food or certain foods, like all protein or no starches dont work!. you have to realize that once you deviate or change from those things youre gonna gain weight!. if you want something that you can stick with and eat normal foods, meat, starch, vegs, fruit, eggs, still go out to eat, try weight watchers!. yes, you will have to count everything you put in your mouth but it works and you dont make yourself sick doing it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I went vegetarian for 6 months!.

i mean i stuck to eating once a day which isn't so healthy but i lost 15 pounds in 1 month and 5 pounds the next but i cut out all greasy food,drank only water and green tea and i didn't even work out!.

It might work for you but don't starve yourself bc when i've done that i tended to overeat and then you feel crappy!.

No, no, no!. Definately don't do that! She might not have problems now but!.!.!.!. The best way is too get rid of any junk in your house, and stock up on fruits and veggies!. Starving yourself isn't the answer either!. I have a weight loss plan, but I have trouble sticking to it!. Well, I am getting a bit better now!.!. but I still have splurges!.!.!. I am losing weight though!. My plan is to try lots of new, healthy, non weight adding on foods!. I tried rice cakes, and I love them!. They aren't expensive, and they are fairly healthy!. its addictive!. i am bulimic and i can't stop!. ive been into recovery but relapsed a number of times!. Not only have i screwed up my throat, but my body barely absorbs nutrients anymore as a result of constant throwing up!. Your metabolism slows down and you begin to GAIN weight!.

No way, don't ever do that!. It causes too many problems! Just try exersizing!. You won't loose weight extremely fast, but it's way healthier!. You don't wanna get yourself into that!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Okay, first of all a diet isn't the restriction of food in general!. A diet is eating!. There are good diets and bad diets!. A bad diet is not eating, and eating too much!. What to do is to not eat till you're hungry!. then grab something small to satisfy your hunger!.
Bulimics do not loose weight from purging!. When a bulimic binges the calories ingested are mostly absorbed into the body on the way to the stomach!. Then you eventually have to eat again cause your stomach is still telling you you're hungry!. Bulimia is a very difficult thing to over come and shouldn't be to loose weight!. You should seek medical attention and some mental health professionals just to be on the safe side!.
