Is it true you lose weight only if you sweat?!


Question: Is it true you lose weight only if you sweat!?
Is it true you lose weight only if you sweat!? Or more if you sweat!? Why is this!?
I dont understand because if you use an indoor exercise bike, you do one hour, you burn the same amount of calories if your killing yourself or if your doing it slow!.!.

u do lose weight if u sweat but thats just because ur loosing the water from ur body, for eg!. u loose 500mls of sweat, but when ur thirsty ur just gonna drink it all back in, u dont actualy loose the calories, its like a small temporary weight loss lolWww@Answer-Health@Com

Sweating's a good indication of how hydrated you are!. If you're doing a serious cardio workout and not staying well hydrated, you're setting yourself up for trouble!. If you find you stop sweating even though you're still working out very intensely, STOP working out and get some water in you ASAP!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Sweating is the body's way of cooling down, it has nothing to do with losing weight!. You just sweat a lot during activities which do make you lose weight!.
The sweat lost has to be replaced so it won't affect your weight!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

To burn calories you don't have to sweat!. Most of the Gyms are airconditoned where you will not sweat!. You have to raise your heart Rate which heats up your core temperaturs to kick up your metabolismWww@Answer-Health@Com

thats not true!. when any physical activity is done then sweating is an indication of the body cooling down!. but that doesnt mean that weight is lost only when u sweat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm no expert on this but I think its to do with how much you increase your heart rate when you are exercising!. Sweating just means you're body is trying to cool itself down!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
