This is a really silly question I know!. But about a month ago I took up yoga on a Monday evening!. Every Tuesday i've had a really rumbly stomach and i've had to go to the loo quite frequently!. Does yoga stimulate the bowels!? I don't really need any help in that department! Or is it just a coincidence!?

Any form of exercise can cause pains if not done correctly, when its you abdominals muscles, stomach or lower stomach this is normally caused by not breathing correctly or over exercising!.

What yoga can do is make you breath into you stomach which can give you trapped wind and a rumbly tumbly!.!.!. sorry tummy!.!.!. which if it goes north can give you heartburn and the burps, and if it goes south and take stuff with it and the farts!.!.!.

It could also be that you intestines have held this wind for a while and the Yoga is helping to move it!.!.!. you should be able to tell by the smell!.!.!.

To be sure I would stop going for a week or two, if it continues check with a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
