Diet and exercise, but no weight loss?!

Question: Diet and exercise, but no weight loss!?
I've lowered my calorie intake from about 2200 to on average, 1200-1300, and exercise at least five days a week with 30 minutes of cardio and a small amount of weight lifting -- this from doing basically nothing!. I have lost some inches, and a couple of pounds, but I'm concerned with how little the scale is moving!. I've learned not to judge my weight loss purely with a scale, but I'm still weirded out!. I know muscle is denser than fat, and so gaining muscle will slow weight loss, but at what point will the numbers start dropping significantly!? Are my expectations too high/am I doing something wrong!? Any kind of explanation would be really helpful!. Thanks ^^Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well the BIGGEST thing to look at is your inches!. So many people are focused on the number that is on the scale, but why worry about that if you are dropping pant sizes!? Also, 1200-1300 is a STRICT calorie intake!. This could possibly be causing your body to go into 'starvation mode' which is when it stores ALL the calories you eat as fat because you aren't eating enough & your body doesn't want you to die from starvation!. Try upping your calories to 1500 a day & make sure you are staying at your target heart rate for atleast 20mins when doing cardio!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Increase the cardio to 45min and drop the weights altogether!. Start them again, after all the unwanted weight is lost- weights work better as a fat prevention measure!.

Also, you are not eating enough!. Up your calories to 1600 so your body stops thinking it is in "starvation mode"!. When the body senses starvation-all fat loss halts!. Drink one gallon of water/day!. Thirst also sends signals for the body to store more fat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi, congratulations on your new healthy attitude!!You didn't specify how long you've been on this new diet!.Sometimes it takes awhile for your metabolic rate to change so it may seem like your working hard for nothing, but once your metabolism changes and knows that it is going to stay that way you will start to see some changes in numbers, but remember it took awhile to put on so unfortunately the same goes for coming off!.Been there doing that myself!. Take care and good luck!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Don't pay to much attention to the scale you said you've already lost inches so that proves its working!
Also remember working out with weights builds muscles and they will be heavier so you might be losing inches but not numbers on the scale!.!.!. this will eventually even out!.

It sounds like you are doing very!. Try one week of the cabbage soup with just cardio and without the weights for a week and you will see a big dip in the scales!

This website has tons of recipes for each day of the diet

You didnt mention if you are drinking plenty of water!?!? But to me it sounds like you are on the right track!. Also try adding walking into your routine do 10000 steps a day plus your normal workout!. And losing inches is just as important as losing weight because then you do not have flab whenever your done!. Good Luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

What your body is doing is gaining muscle!. (Yea!) After a few weeks, you should start noticing more dropping in weight!. Average and healthy weight loose is about 2-3 pounds a week!. The muscle that you gain will help speed up your metabolism and burn more fat!. Keep up the good work!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Every day you do your cardio workout, keep a log of how long and how fast you went!. This has helped keep me on track and realy helps prevent slacking!. Also try to do more strength training as this will burn fat from specific areas of your body!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Weight loss was a huge problem for me until I checked out acai berry!. I understand they say that pills will not work, but they definitely worked for me, and they've been featured on CNN too!. There's a free trial happening right now at http://pilycosd!.getce!.com, why not try it , how worse could it make things!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

maybe you should try bulemia or anorexia!. that always helps me when i need to lose weight and the numbers drop quickly too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You are doing great!. Just remember it takes almost as long to get rid of the excess pounds and inches as it did to put it there!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You're not eating nearly enough!. If you're working, you need at least about 1400-1500 calories, and that's for a person with a TINY frame!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Check your body fat percentage or take measurements and judge your progress by that!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It depends!.
What's you sex, age, weight, BMI and workout routine!?
Get a personal trainer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would keep up with your excersize routine!. But try to spice up your workout routine every so often!. Doing this will surprise your body and will most likely help you drop some weight!. If you continue to do the same workout routine everyday that you workout, your body becomes comfortable with it and it will be harder to see any huge difference in your weight!.
Also, try and consume most of your calories during the day and less at night!. (I have this problem!) Eat a big breakfast, a medium lunch, and a smaller dinner!. This will keep your metablism at a peak, give you energy throughout the day, and will give your body time to digest before bed!.
If you continue to see no results!.!.!.I would try a diet pill that you have reasearched to give you the extra uuphf!
Lastly, drink LOTS of water (hot lemon water too)Www@Answer-Health@Com
