for help wiht hte whole do crunches statement, you can't just do crunches!. If you only do crunches your stomach will in fact look larger!. You must lose the fat on your abs before you do crunches becuase doing thos crunches will strengthen your abs, therefore your abs get bigger and it will appear you have gotten bigger becuase your building muscle under fat!. I suggest do some cardio with a fewcrunches becuase then the fat will come off and you will look leaner!. But do not just do crunches without cardio becuase then you are defeating the entire purpose!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm sorry but none of these people know what they're talking about!. You can do crunches all day but they're not going to get rid of that layer of fat on your belly!. The only way to get rid of body fat is with cardio and good diet!. Unfortunately, you cannot chose which parts of your body you will lose fat!. I wish you could - no matter how skinny I get, I still have this thick layer of fat on my belly that hides the 6-pack underneath!.

I personally think that running or jogging on a treadmill is the fastest and easiest ways to burn calories!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Does anyone ever click on the "discover" tab in Y!A!? It seems like this question has been answered a billion times!.

Anyway, here's another brief go: you CANNOT spot reduce fat!. I has to be lost from the entire body!. You could do 100 sit-ups a day, and get awesome abs!. But they would be hidden underneath any fat you are carrying!. The more weight you lose, the more you will lose from the stomach!.

Exercising helped me to lose a pile of weight once I joined it along with using acai berry!. I know they say that pills do not work, nevertheless they sure worked for me, and they've been featured on the Rachael Ray Show too!. There's a free trial happening right now at http://dapunaps!.thegmc!.com , give it a try, what is the worst that could happen!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

running will burn it off in time if you do it enough

i HIGHLY reccommend a team related sport though as you do so much more exercise than you realise and enjoy it at the same time, it makes it seem so much easierWww@Answer-Health@Com

It's great that you're running on a treadmill already!. I used to be fairly heavy and started running intervals on the treadmill (meaning!.!.!.1 minute at 5!.0 mph/then move up to 8!.0 for 30 seconds, and repeat for 25 minutes)!. Research has shown that this helps reduce belly fat than crunches!. I also do a pilates workout 1-2 times a week and the majority of it includes a lot of core exercises (like the plank)!.

This is an article from Women's Health: Get There: Do speed intervals!. A study from Canada found that exercisers who did 30-minute workouts that included short, hard efforts lost three times as much fat in 15 weeks as their peers who performed steady-paced, easier workouts for 45 minutes!. "Technically, you burn more fat as fuel during low-intensity exercise," explains researcher Jason Talanian, Ph!.D!., who did a series of studies on interval training at the University of Guelph in Ontario!. "But you become a better fat burner overall [even when resting] by raising your fitness ceiling, which you do by going fast!." Specifically, Talanian found that interval training increases your cells' fat-frying ability by up to 50 percent!. And because they're harder to do than pokey one-speed workouts, your body takes longer to return to normal after you're done (meaning you keep torching calories long after you've showered)!. As a belly-busting bonus, vigorous exercise lowers stress, says sports conditioning specialist Scott H!. Mendelson, owner of Infinity Fitness outside Columbus, Ohio!. "Stress hormones like cortisol are a known contributor to abdominal fat!."Www@Answer-Health@Com
