Question: Ifeel like I am doing so good but how can I stay motivated!?
The last week or 2 I have been doing so good on my diet/exercise routine!. I have been eating all the right foods, drinking water, strictly limiting my carbs, doing my elliptical and pilates every night!. I haven't lost very much b/c well, its only been a week! I am a very impatient girl and usually after 2-3 weeks I quit my diet!. How can I stay motivated to keep dieting until April or until my goal weight!? (I have 20-25 more lbs to lose)!. Exercise is not a problem, its just diet that I have a hard time sticking to?Www@Answer-Health@Com

What I do to stay motivated is I keep a diet journal, and make sure that I write in it every night!. I always right every single thing I put in my mouth that day, what excercize, and how I feel!. I write about my cravings, my regrets, and things that I think I'm doing wrong!. If you do this, you'll be more aware of your diet and when you begin overeating!. Also, if you're craving something sweet or salty, I find that it helps to write in the diary because it stops your craving, and shows me the real reason I'm craving it (stress, habit, ect!.)!.
