Have I done alright so far on my diet?!


Question: Have I done alright so far on my diet!?
I woke up and had:

1 serving of mussili measured by weigh (oatmeal, sunflower seeds, almonds, raisins)
1 oz!. dried cranberries
1 TBS Honey (I needed to sweeten the mussili!. I didn't like it plain)
1/2 cup skim milk
1/2 large Asian pear
2 slices of lean ham

Total Points on Weight Watchers: 7

I also took a Weight Control Multivitamin!.

After breakfast I did Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds 1 Mile Walk with 2 pound weights!. I have been drinking water and I have a thermos of tea (2 peppermint tea packets and 1 green tea packet)!.

I too am a Weight Watchers member and not only did you have healthy options, but almost all of those foods are filling foods!. That sounds like a great breakfast for only 7 points and will be sure to sustain you throughout of the day!.

Its also good to see that you are getting some exercise in!. Not only will you gain more activity points but it will make losing weight easier and faster for you!. Diet and fitness go hand-in-hand and you are doing both of them!.

I would say yes!.
Watching what you eat is a key factor into loosing weight!. However don't starve yourself!.
Doing the walk will also help!. As long as its a brisk walk and not a casual walk!. A brisk walk takes your body into its fat burning zone easily!. Adding the weight is also a good idea!. As time goes on, increase the distance and if need be weight!.
You are certainly going about it the right way!. Patience and Determination are also key factors!. If you don't see results right away, don't give up!.

The formula for losing those extra pounds is not difficult - eat less food and exercise more - the problems surface when we in reality try to put that into practice! There are loads of opportunities to fail out there don't you think!?!
